Haven’t got many chance to meet international movie star in real life myself, except one time I met Ornella Muti ( an Italian sex symbol in the 70-80s, you might hv seen her as the princess in the 1980 cult Flash Gordon ), on screen she shines like a diamond, in real life she was just that tiny little woman, I wouldn’t say “nothing special” but definitely not 30% as stunning as she is on screen… well, movie is magic.

Just as I have always thought George Lazenby was underated as Bond, so do I think Diana Rigg is an underated Bond girl (and OHMSS is an underated movie it seems). Lazenby's line "This never happened to the other guy" is a classic. But to be honest, I fell "in love with" Diana Rigg as a young fellow watching the Avengers. She was the first Bond girl I actually knew who the actress was, so she's sort of special to me.
My personal favorite is still Anya Amasova. I think it’s Barbara Bach’s eyes and her soft Russian voice that does me in every time I watch The Spy Who Loved Me. Vesper Lynd is a pretty close second.

10:38 When I saw this Bondmovie for the first time (on VHS in the early 80s) I got absolutely blindsided by that ending. it left me completety drained and that feeling still lingers when this scene is coming up. Probable one of the most emotioal ending I've seen... it's a unique scene in the bondverse and a gutwrencher at that. Everything that was built up for Bond and his wife gets swept away in seconds and the sudden sorrow is undeniable... it's over but in death they have all the time in the world. I imagine how that scene would look in a modern version.... probably dumb and completely unsensitive but craving that you feel something.
To be honest I was quite fearfull for i thought that the video would be a mere comparison of superficialitys, BUT you (Chris Bumber) managed to focus on the characters personalitys and, if speaking of the womens looks, doing so in a respectfull manner. Thank you for being a real gentleman ♥️
The reason Eva Green is so good is because she doesn’t play the character seductively or self-knowing she’s a Bond girl. She had the best fashion of all of them, but wears it like everyday clothes. She sits at the bar bored, leaning on her hand. She’s plays the part straight forward, not sexy. But she’s so incredibly beautiful that she is seductive and sexy anyway by simply being Eva Green.

Vesper Lynd is such a great character that she was mentioned in subsequent bond films posthumously. She is one of the best character of all time, regardless of a bond fipm.
I agree with Eva... but on another note. I'm in love with all of them really.. & after being fresh out of the cinema Monday evening, I still have not recovered from watching no time to die. It was just so awesome & heartbreaking at the same time. I've only gotten moist eyes during a Bond film a handful of times that I can remember. When Vesper dies is definitely one & multiple times during No time to die. The playing of "We have all the time in the world" really hit me hard..& well the ending of the movie.💔😪

She´s the mastermind, the one who manipulated Renard and plotted everything and was evil to the bone. She is 100% a pure villain.

Just as I have always thought George Lazenby was underated as Bond, so do I think Diana Rigg is an underated Bond girl (and OHMSS is an underated movie it seems). Lazenby's line "This never happened to the other guy" is a classic. But to be honest, I fell "in love with" Diana Rigg as a young fellow watching the Avengers. She was the first Bond girl I actually knew who the actress was, so she's sort of special to me.
My personal favorite is still Anya Amasova. I think it’s Barbara Bach’s eyes and her soft Russian voice that does me in every time I watch The Spy Who Loved Me. Vesper Lynd is a pretty close second.

10:38 When I saw this Bondmovie for the first time (on VHS in the early 80s) I got absolutely blindsided by that ending. it left me completety drained and that feeling still lingers when this scene is coming up. Probable one of the most emotioal ending I've seen... it's a unique scene in the bondverse and a gutwrencher at that. Everything that was built up for Bond and his wife gets swept away in seconds and the sudden sorrow is undeniable... it's over but in death they have all the time in the world. I imagine how that scene would look in a modern version.... probably dumb and completely unsensitive but craving that you feel something.
To be honest I was quite fearfull for i thought that the video would be a mere comparison of superficialitys, BUT you (Chris Bumber) managed to focus on the characters personalitys and, if speaking of the womens looks, doing so in a respectfull manner. Thank you for being a real gentleman ♥️

The reason Eva Green is so good is because she doesn’t play the character seductively or self-knowing she’s a Bond girl. She had the best fashion of all of them, but wears it like everyday clothes. She sits at the bar bored, leaning on her hand. She’s plays the part straight forward, not sexy. But she’s so incredibly beautiful that she is seductive and sexy anyway by simply being Eva Green.

Vesper Lynd is such a great character that she was mentioned in subsequent bond films posthumously. She is one of the best character of all time, regardless of a bond fipm.

I agree with Eva... but on another note. I'm in love with all of them really.. & after being fresh out of the cinema Monday evening, I still have not recovered from watching no time to die. It was just so awesome & heartbreaking at the same time. I've only gotten moist eyes during a Bond film a handful of times that I can remember. When Vesper dies is definitely one & multiple times during No time to die. The playing of "We have all the time in the world" really hit me hard..& well the ending of the movie.💔😪

I agree whole heartedly that Carey Lowell was a superb Bond Girl, perhaps even the best, and that License to Kill was the best Bond film. Having read a number of Ian Fleming's Bond novels, there is no question that Timothy Dalton played Bond truer to Fleming's Bond character than any of the others, most especially Roger Moore, who I did not care for at all.
