@@warnacokelat Yeah. It's actually sad that there are no more animes that talk about this issue, and we have to consider that this anime is 16 years old.
Yes, I think is one of the best animes out there. I watched for the first time like 10 years ago when I was in highschool, i was feeling very depressed and that anime help me work on my feelings and be more introspective on what I wanted and what exactly I was feeling. It helped me a lot more when I graduate from university and was unemployed, staying up very late at night, not taking care of diet and feeling very depressed again. Since that first time, I re-watch it every 3 years or so, or when I'm feeling down, it is a pretty unique anime, it can help you a lot if you watch it in the right moment and if you dare yourself to watch deep inside pf your mind and your heart to know what is going on.
Just finished rewatching after 15 years this shit still hits you so hard. Misaki will never come if you don’t improve yourself keep going everyone you are all doing great!!
@J C in the reality no one will come to save us moved by an unconditional love and even if we'd find someone capable of love us, that might not be the solution of our problems, as we wouldn't be able to love them if we don't love ourselves first. I know that sometimes life can be very rough with us, but we have to accept the fact that we can't change it; the only ones we can change are ourselves, with all our defects. We must be our own misaki and fight back. That's not an easy path to take and mantain, but we have to go on, forcing our nature to overwhelm our self-limitations. It'll be hard, I'll require a daily effort and even if we'll never reach our ideals of inner peace and self-realization, we'll be able to learn how to love ourselves and the others, and find our place in this indifferent yet sometimes enjoyable world.
@@ilbabbu1898 "We must be our own misaki and fight back." I absolutely love this quote. I just watched this anime for the very first time and finally finished it last night. Absolutely breathtaking.
@@fallenose683 one of the most important points of the show is that misaki was not the one who pushed Sato out of it. Sato got a job and escaped NEETdom only when he had to, when his allowance was taken away. Same with the class rep’s brother. The only way to do something that you can’t do is to need to do it.
@@masterdesattardes1055 (spoilers ahead) tbh i dont think Satou did that right? He was just 'humour[ing] her' as he said in one of the episodes before/around the time he signed the contract i think. Or atleast he didnt do anything bad on purpose, and i think when he realised he did mess up, he tried to save it (near the end, i wont spoil it). The pyramid scheme girl definitly did. This anime genuinely hits peak story telling and some points, like it's mysterious at first you wanna know everyone's motivations and when you finally figure then out, it just hurts - and for something "fake" to give you such real feelings, that to me is the peak
I've watched NHK at the beginning of this year and one day my life changed to that of Sato's. No university (as for now), my technical education is worth nothing as if I just went to regular high school, no job. It's cruel, but I have to get myself back on track and NHK showed ne earlier that this is possible
I mean yeah but at the same time all you need is just a push whether it's misaki or yamazaki the entire thing that makes NHK so good is that it's not just"muh dream gf" but the fact that you need a human connection to anything either another person or even something like a gal game to truly value life
I'm pretty much in the same situation as sato rn, and it's so exhausting... I live in a really crappy country, and it has been taking a toll on me...fml
I just watched this anime for the very first time and finally finished it last night. This is one of the only animes that actually managed to make me cry. I never thought I was going to be able to relate to both Sato and Misaki so much. I never had suicidal thoughts like they did, but my ex did. At one point she was considering suicide, and I tried my hardest to convince her that it wasn't the answer. Fortunately it worked, but she admitted that she was using me for emotional support, and felt ashamed that she played with my feelings to fix hers. I didn't mind though, I'm just glad she reconsidered attempting. We no longer talk anymore, but I check up on her on Instagram every now and then, and happy that she's living a happy life now. That part of her reminds me of Misaki in a way, since she pretty much does the same to Sato. But for anyone who ever is feeling like giving up, please just keep on keeping on. Nothing in life is permanent, and I know that each and every one of you is more than capable of trying your hardest to get ahead in life. If you read this far, I thank you for your time. Good luck out there, and never stop fighting.
As someone who relate to Misaki myself, I’m glad you stopped her. Suicide isn’t an answer. It’s just a period to end the painful sentence. And thank you for continuing to check up on her every now & then. Technically I can’t say for sure since she’s her own person but we have a deep need to be remember/notice, I’m sure she’ll be happy you still care about her
I did an essay on NHK about art and how it can change you for college. I saw the anime during a rough time in my life and convinced me grow up, have fun and cherish your family. We are all afraid of life and want it to be an amazing story, but sometimes life is the story itself.
@caslloverr you know I feel somewhat the same, though I'm in my Sato phase and the things he's gone through is what I've went through already/ or are going though currently, damn near 90%of what he went through I went through , like it got way to personal around episode 18 that I had to take a break from the anime cause it was affecting me mentally, but I got through it and the ending of it just made me feel both a sense of longing and kinda misserable knowing that this reflected life a little TOO WELL for something back in 2006 vs what I'm going though now smh.
