"Donald Trump's campaign and its supporters spent a good portion of the 2016 campaign arguing that Hillary Clinton was secretly very ill and not up to the task of being president.
Trump's doctor, by contrast, isn't too worried about his patient dying in office - at least, not when it comes to the future of the country.
“If something happens to him, then it happens to him,” Harold Bornstein says. “It’s like all the rest of us, no? That’s why we have a vice president and a speaker of the House and a whole line of people. They can just keep dying.”
That amazing quote comes courtesy of a new interview Bornstein did with STAT. And it's part of a veritable murderer's row of curmudgeonly quotes from and anecdotes about the . . . well . . . interesting physician.

To be fair, Trump has explained that the briefings are boring since the most of the time people just report that there is no change in the status of level of threats, that Russian and Chinese planes were approaching the borders X number of times, and go with all the other security-related formalities and platitudes, so *Trump says "just call me directly if something actually happens"*. My guess is that for the same reason Obama misses 58% of his intelligence briefings, he says "write me a letter instead", so they they just prepare reports without meeting with Obama.

My mum's blood pressure was 95/50 during her last year, when she was tied to a bed for the third year. She had Alzheimer's disease and her both hips were broken due to osteoporosis, but her CNS had stopped reacting to pain impulses. She certainly hadn't exercised. She died at 80 of influenza.
Nothing that the doctor says about Chump means shit. That letter is worth less than the paper it's written on. But I wonder what Chump's check-ups and their discussions consist of. But since his doctor said Trump's blood tests were all positive, that means that he has at least syphilis, probably some other brain rotting disease.
I've never known a physician to use such words. ever. neither in medical records or in medical correspondence.

peope1976 - LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. You've never been severely chronically ill, have you? Most doctors, especially guys who are considered in the top of their field, are loco. My orthopedist is a brilliant man and a truly gifted surgeon- and he's a hyperactive 5 yo who wears suits at least 1-2 sizes too big. My neurologist helped pioneer breakthrough treatments for movement disorders like Parkinson's and Tourettes's- and he routinely forgets that he's Jewish and that he's very tall (6'5" or so, he knocks his head into things and tries to use stools better suited to my 5'3" frame, leaving him looking like a frog with his butt quite a few inches lower than his knees). My brother had a doctor who never looked patients in the eye because he forgot they were human (explanation of said behavior curtesy of both him and his nurses).
I could go on all day, but suffice it to say, Drumpf's doctor being incredibly odd is actually quite normal.

Yes; he would if it had been tested, and testing for tertiary (brain) syphilis requires a spinal tap (which is very painful), so I think Trump would refuse. As for Bornstein's qualifications, one must first do a residency in internal medicine before doing a fellowship in GI.

I knew Reagan was senile--he changed significantly after his time as governor. By the mid 80s, we knew. The media covered up for him. And Trump's dementia is obvious because of the 4 am tweets--he gets nightmares, hears voices, cannot distinguish between delusions and reality. They brought Ivanka in to babysit him and send him home to Mar-a-lago as often as possible because these people want their own homes, familiar surroundings. I knew a woman whose son fixed up her quarters in the home to look just like her apt...she was so happy that he had not made her move...and another lady would wake-up in the middle of the night thinking people were in her home and so she'd take her cat and hide in the garage until it was light. She still thought there were strangers in her home all night until I asked how they got in, did she unlock the door? Why would she do that? She'd never do that during the day....and she'd realize it was a bad dream. Until it happened again a few days later. Trump's tweets follow the pattern.

I worked in a hospital for 30 years and if any doctor talked about a patient like this they'd lose their position with the hospital - so unprofessional. He doesn't even sound like a physician - he sounds like a person they met in a bar or something. And 110/65 blood pressure is extremely low blood pressure. And that's a medical condition, low blood pressure.
