- Spacious and stylish bags for the Indian scout bobber for long distance trips or as your everyday.
I forgot to mention how the installing went in the video but it was very easy, pretty straightforward. That’s very important to me because I’ll be using these bags for long distance rides and easily remove them and install my solo bag as my everyday.

Being able to lock your bags is a must have IMO.
They look awesome on this bike. I also have a Scout Bobber but it’s Spirit Blue and I’m looking at getting these

Thanks for sharing this, I just put a deposit on a 2023 Chief Bobber Dark Horse, and was looking at bags to use on long rides. 90% of the time, they’ll be off, but sometimes it’s nice to be able to carry some stuff.
Viking bags makes good stuff. I have the small throw over Patriot saddlebags on my iron 1200 and I have been very happy with them.
They look good, nice size but not too big to compromise the style of the bike. Just need some rubber caps to cover the ends of the bolts inside the bags, so you don't scratch your gear.

I have the Darkin painted hard bags and they are “easy install” (still threw a couple wrenches across the room) so easier than the PITA of drilling bracket holes like the other bags they have. Paint is weaker than a French solider, but overall really happy with them and get compliments. These should serve you well 🤘🏻
Love it! I was looking at getting the solo bag. I'll definitely be watching out for your video on that one. Just wish you could lock it.

I just Installed mine are the tops of the nuts supposed to break off?
Looks great, but are you going to need to move your license plate?
Not sure what I’m doing yet. I’m not planning on moving it back though since I’m only using these bags for whenever I do long trips so I’m not too worried right now. I’ll have to come up with something whenever that happens though!

Viking bags have a problem, the part of the bag you secure to the bike is not thick enough and will start cracking where the bolts go through.
You should reinforce them with bigger washers or even a wide plate
Yeahhh.. I wouldn’t know anything about that. That’s a complaint for Viking Bags. It’s not the first pair of saddlebags they’ve designed, I’m sure they know what they’re doing but hey who am I to know lol

They wont but they have other bags for the Chief if you check their website!

they don't look like they would fit with the stock turn signals

Viking bags are not real leather !!

Well good thing I can pull both of those looks on this bike. I don’t plan to leave the bike like this though. My plan is do this “mini bagger” for long rides lol
