Im using both Mitsubishi Electric and Mitsubishi Heavy. I will always advise to go for Mitsubishi Electric over Heavy Industries.
1) Mitsubishi Electric built is way better over Heavy. The cooling coils and brackets, in Mitsubishi Heavy, used to hold the cooling coil in the indoor unit gets corroded and rusted and the U/C bends of the cooling coil tend to leak after a point of time.
2) Mitsubishi Electric has thicker tubes in the cooling coils of the indoor unit and the U/C bends of the copper coil has a coating that prevents corrosion and gas leaks.
3) The capacitor in the main board inside the IDU of Heavy Industries Air-conditioners gets weak or leaks over time leading to erratic fan speeds.
4) Fins of IDU in Heavy Industries are too closely placed leading to blocked airflow if not serviced VERY regularly and rigorously. This regular cleaning leads bent fins.
5) After sales service of Mitsubishi Heavy is the WORST among all brands that sells Air-conditioners in India. Let alone the main board in the ODU if even a simple component breaks down its a herculean task to get the part replaced even if the AC is within warranty.
6) Very tricky warranty and registration terms and procedures. Air-conditioners with different technology and tonnage has different warranties!
Mitsubishi Electric has pan India presence with exclusive experience centers, dealer & support network for pre and post sale support.
Though there are many models just for example there is no AC like the Mitsubishi Electric GR18/22 VF or VFT models in India from any other manufaturer in the respective category
Trust me guys If you want to buy best ac Mitsubishi Heavy duty AC Is Better option both are best but my opinion is mitsubishi heavy duty is king here it is old company but old is gold

Misconception that is out of place. There is nothing like which is good for domestic or commercial. Mitsubishi Electric ac are far better than Heavy in Commercial use. Heavy has high maintenance when running in commercial environment. Some mitsubishi heavy models dosnt have coatings in ubends in the evaporator coils or are of poor quality that is prone to leakage over time. MHI after sales is pathetic too.
Mitsubishi electric ac inventor spilit ac... pcb board 5years warranty.. but Mitsubishi heavy industry air conditioner inventor spilit ac pcb board has only 1Year warranty....BUT your job is always best/ excellent..great....😎😎😎

I'm calling you from Peloponnese of Greece.. please can you tell me some models 12000btu or 18000btu with great performance in heating mostly on mitsubishi electric series and on heavy industries.. I have msz dm 35 va e1 r410a but I'm thinking to change... I have a panasonic 12000btu on off r410a
20 years-old and it has more efficiency on 23 degrees on heating.. you believe that is has boiling air.. like steam... so great heating... on 40 Square meters with 20 years old aluminum doors...
