I know how it is fucking up my chances tho. Beat a fed case which is impossible damn near and went right back at it again. Being a drug addict is a motherfucker.

I'm a recovering addict myself struggling with life. Ive only been to prison once and know enough to know it's not how I want to live. But the cycle thing he's talking about is real. Once you get a record its hard to get off probation and they keep trying to violate you for not being in treatment if you tell them your an addict. Then you owe court costs and restitution. It's hard to get a job with a felony. You pretty much have to know someone to get a job. He did take his drug addiction to the max though lol
For those who are so critical....how is he not still in? Not enough time for all his charges.... Not sober for long enough.... You never know who or what story will strike that nerve in someone else to change. I am thankful to Big Herc for this site and for all the positive things he does to make a difference in this world.
I can relate to this man. Sounds like some family members and family of friends. Perhaps God has a very special plan for this man? We all have fallen short and no sin is "better" than another.
I'm glad dude got his head on straight now. Man it seems so simple to stop using but when you get so caught up like that you're repeating bad habits basically subconsciously. It takes a lot of courage to break that cycle and realize what made you use in the first place & for every user they lack love and/or went through some truama to continue to use & you get so hooked not even thinking about what led to using to begin with. I can relate to his story a lot. All my homies & family are locked up/dead/still fucked up dealing with a lot of the same issues while im still going to programs myself because of the cases I caught. Anyway just wanted to say your story is super inspiring and that you will make a great A&DA counselor to help steer these kids in the right direction.

Every time I got in trouble with the law was cuz I was fucked up on drugs. I'm glad I caught a plane and got the fuck out of new mexico. Now I've been travelling the world. I'm a Chef. Currently living in London, was in Australia last year..but I ain't as clean as I'd like to be tbh. Working on it. At least I'm not locked up or living in the streets like I did for a while.

It so true. Everytime I picked drugs up .I ended back in jail . It cost me 10 yrs of my life due to drugs and living the street life
