Saudi Arabia's futuristic city project 'Jeddah' | tower and city

Jeddah Economic City, previously known as Kingdom City, is a 5,202,570 m2 project approved for construction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The project is designed by the Kingdom Holding Company, a firm owned by Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal.
Jeddah Economic City will host both commercial and residential development including homes, hotels, and offices.

Alot of people want an update, Anyways theyve started working on surrounding projects and infrastructure of the city, as for the Jeddah Tower construction will be resuming soon, alot of people are asking "how can they finish Jeddah Tower by 2020?" You forgot that Burj Khalifa took 4 years to build.

I go there in north Jeddah every week for my job, but as of now, I don't see any other development except the tower itself. I'm just curious how quickly they can build a city if the condition of the project until now is like this.

Well I wouldn't be surprised if they can do it within a couple of years :) Compared to where I live, in Europe, constrcution goes much faster where you live

I live very near to this project they just started to continue it they started digging for other buildings and brought tracks for the monorail
