The science of ancient India was remarkably advanced for its time, with groundbreaking contributions in fields such as mathematics, astronomy, medicine, and metallurgy. The concepts and knowledge developed by Indian scholars laid the foundation for many modern scientific principles. How long can we bask in the glory of our ancestors if their achievements and accomplishments were never passed on and highlighted in the world? Perhaps we had everything and we were amazing back then, but in today’s era what have we achieved? What is that one invention that the world is dependent on us for? Not even our precious Yoga. The west reinvented yoga too. They cherished it. We don’t even practice it. They made it into a successful business. Think about it people. Where are we going wrong?

Do you observe the contemporary world? Whatever there was has already lost it's meaning.
You are still gonna eat a pizza, or a chocolate or also drink cola or soda.
There is nothing wrong with all of that, but the reality is we have to move on now.

So wat are u gaining by speaking the past glories? Views? Has it done any good to India so far?
Israel though it's a very small country, yet most of the advancements in science and technology comes from them and they never boast about it anywhere, but just improve and have made their country a technologically, scientifically, even in agriculture a no 1 country.
We Indians keep yapping about the past and still when a oil spill takes place removes it from the sea using buckets, not just that no proper toilets yet for many villages.
A recent survey says, Women during their menstrual time are avoiding bath because of lack of toilets and proper water connection in India.
Using ur platform educate about wat needs to be done, don't be an yapper of past which didn't do any gud to us.
Don't come behind saying British took everything.
The Israelis are the most oppressed in the history of humanity and their country was formed around d 1947 - 1948, yet they are wer they r now.
I want my India to grow and shine, do something for tat.

@@adithirai Sushruta compiled a monumental thesis in surgery, the 'Sushruta Samhita'. • @adithirai
      @adithirai 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

Still I didn't get the reference text like para no or verse no.
The concept of surgery was explored well before recorded history, with early surgeons grasping the basic concepts of human anatomy and organ systems. Among some of the notable findings:
Stone Age: The oldest known surgery is a leg amputation performed on a child on the island of Borneo around 31,000 years ago.2
6500 BCE: Skulls found in France show signs of a rudimentary surgery called trepanation (or trephination), which involves drilling a hole in the skull.3
1750 BCE: The Code of Hammurabi, one of the earliest Babylonian codes of laws, details regulations governing surgeons, medical malpractice, and victim’s compensation
1550 BCE: Ebers Papyrus, an ancient Egyptian medical treatise, includes information on how to surgically treat crocodile bites and serious burns.
So every country or region or an age has its own history of performing something with respect to medicine, right? The texts of Susrutha samhita belonged to later Vedic age and linking it to puranas and vedas which came later is like demeaning the works of the great man.
According to Hindu tenets, the human body is sacred in death. Hindu law (Shastras) states that no corpse may be violated by the knife and that persons older than 2 years of age must be cremated in their original condition (Ruthkow, 1961). Susruta was, however, able to bypass this decree and achieve his remarkable knowledge of human anatomy by using a brush-type broom, which scrapped off skin and flesh without the dissector having to actually touch the corpse.
Therefore, Susrutha, a person who could have been the father and icon of modern medicine, was halted and wasn't able to achieve much because of the superstitions and belief systems India had and have.
Therefore, boasting of our past glory is of no use to the present India, which needs a lot and a lot of development and hope.
