It says the following. (2:190) Fight in the way of Allah200 against those who fight against you but do not transgress,201 for Allah does not love transgressors. (2:191) Kill them whenever you confront them and drive them out from where they drove you out. (For though killing is sinful) wrongful persecution is even worse than killing. Al qur'an is incomparable to any scripture and written in arabic, so If you compare recitation Al qur'an to how anyone can read the Bible like reading the holy Al qur'an it's not the same.

I don't think I understand what you are saying exactly, however the Glorious Quran (Recitation) was revealed slowly in a period of 23 years by the Archangel Jabril, to Muhammed (SAAWS) and the first verses were revealed in a mountain caver where Muhammed, used to retreat for spiritual guidance. Those 5 verses were the beginning of the Quranic experience which left the Arabs dumbfounded since they were the master and elegant speakers of the language, and the fact that an illiterate person was able to speak such profound words full of meanings and the beauty of the language, inspired them to want to hear more of the Quran even though they were the worst enemies of Muhammed. the Quran (the recitation) was meant to be recited out loud instead of reading with a beautiful voice. There are several methods of reading the Quran and one must learn the proper Tajweed and Tartil. The Quran was meant to be recited with ease and not in haste in the tongue. People that don't know the Arabic language are captivated by the beauty of its recitation and it brings them to tears deep in their hearts which is nothing new since the beginning this has been the case. To give you an example there was a famous Egyptian reciter by the name of Abu Baset Abu Samad who is renown in the Islamic World for his mastery of the Recitation, he recited Sura (Taha) to high top officials of the former USSR (Union of Soviets Socialist Republic) and they were in tears---and those people were atheist that tried to destroyed the fabric of every faith in Russia (former USSR). Surah 9:5: Critics of Islam actually quote this verse out of context. In order to understand the context, we need to read from verse 1 of this surah. I feel like there is a huge misconception that We Arabs understand the Quran completely but its not true, we understand some of it, but not all its is extremely difficult, its 1400 years old dialect, the Arabic spoken today in the whole world is 98% different than the Quranic dialect, so we only understand about 2% of the quran, only the learned huffaz and scholars understand the actual Quran not everybody else. Sakinah Hur peace be unto you too. I agree that Aramaic and Hebrew are similar to Arabic but what I meant was the Qur'an with the Arabic language is unique. It's just my personal opinion that the Qur'an recitation sounds better than all I've heard. In fact, I've actually listened to the Bible be recited in Aramaic. I'm an ex Christian currently gaining knowledge on Islam.

How can you follow Jesus more by not worshiping Him [rhetorical]? According to Jesus, we must deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him (are you doing that?). Plus, when His disciples worshiped Him did He say 'stop it'? There were times when disciples mistaken angels as 'God', but they refused to be worshiped. Jesus did not refuse to be worshiped. And they say, “Exalted is our Lord! Indeed, the promise of our Lord has been fulfilled.” And they fall upon their faces weeping, and it (i.e. the Quran) increases them in humble submission.”* (Quran: 17: 107-109). Salam!

As for Chapter 2 verse 191 you must read verse 190 to understand the context and what does verse 190 say. It says the following.
(2:190) Fight in the way of Allah200 against those who fight against you but do not transgress,201 for Allah does not love transgressors. (2:191) Kill them whenever you confront them and drive them out from where they drove you out. (For though killing is sinful) wrongful persecution is even worse than killing.
The verse before literally says fight those who fight you, but do not be the aggressors. People like you will always try to make Islam look bad, do better.

I don't think I understand what you are saying exactly, however the Glorious Quran (Recitation) was revealed slowly in a period of 23 years by the Archangel Jabril, to Muhammed (SAAWS) and the first verses were revealed in a mountain caver where Muhammed, used to retreat for spiritual guidance. Those 5 verses were the beginning of the Quranic experience which left the Arabs dumbfounded since they were the master and elegant speakers of the language, and the fact that an illiterate person was able to speak such profound words full of meanings and the beauty of the language, inspired them to want to hear more of the Quran even though they were the worst enemies of Muhammed. the Quran (the recitation) was meant to be recited out loud instead of reading with a beautiful voice. There are several methods of reading the Quran and one must learn the proper Tajweed and Tartil. The Quran was meant to be recited with ease and not in haste in the tongue. People that don't know the Arabic language are captivated by the beauty of its recitation and it brings them to tears deep in their hearts which is nothing new since the beginning this has been the case. To give you an example there was a famous Egyptian reciter by the name of Abu Baset Abu Samad who is renown in the Islamic World for his mastery of the Recitation, he recited Sura (Taha) to high top officials of the former USSR (Union of Soviets Socialist Republic) and they were in tears---and those people were atheist that tried to destroyed the fabric of every faith in Russia (former USSR).

Surah 9:21 “Their Lord gives them good tidings of mercy from Him and approval and of gardens for them wherein is enduring pleasure.”
Surah 5:51: If you read the Verses before 5:51 you will come to understand that the Jews and the Nazarenes were bothering the last Messenger and the Monotheistic believers with their falsehoods and tried to mislead them. They plotted together against the last Messenger and the Monotheistic believers. Of course it will be discouraged to take allies with certain groups who wants to harm you and your beliefs.
Surah 2:191: It’s important whenever one reads a Quranic verse, to read it in its context. As you have read, critics only quote the part which suites them, they isolate previous verses and the ones after. When the passage is examined in context, it is clear that nowhere does it sanction the killing of innocent people. From verse 2:190 to 2:195, when read, Allah makes it evident to fight those only who fight them, fighting in self-defence.
Surah 3:151: context of this is the battle of Uhud when the Meccan polytheists tried to exterminate Muslims. “(We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve) [3:151]. Said al-Suddi: “After Uhud, Abu Sufyan and the idolaters headed toward Mecca. But after they traversed a certain distance, they felt regret, saying: ‘Evil is that which we have done! We massacred them [Muslims] such that none of them remained except those who fled from the battlefield and then we left them alone. Go back and exterminate them’. But when they decided to do so, Allah, exalted is He, cast terror in their hearts which made them decide against what they had resolved to do. Allah, exalted is He, then revealed this verse.”
Surah 47:4: The verse starts with “when you meet the unbelievers”, because this verse was revealed just before the Muslims were about to go to a battle with the unbelievers.
Then God states “smite their necks until you have crushed them, then bind your captives firmly”. This tells the Muslims that they were going to win this battle. The verse continues: “hereafter set them free, either by an act of grace, or against ransom, until the war ends.” This means that when the battle ends, they could set the captives free or take a ransom over them before releasing them.
Surah 9:5: Critics of Islam actually quote this verse out of context. In order to understand the context, we need to read from verse 1 of this surah. It says that there was a peace treaty between the Muslims and the Mushriks (pagans) of Makkah. This treaty was violated by the Mushriks of Makkah. A period of four months was given to the Mushriks of Makkah to make amends. Otherwise war would be declared against them. Verse 5 of Surah Taubah says: “But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practice regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” [Al-Qur’an 9:5]

I feel like there is a huge misconception that We Arabs understand the Quran completely but its not true, we understand some of it, but not all its is extremely difficult, its 1400 years old dialect, the Arabic spoken today in the whole world is 98% different than the Quranic dialect, so we only understand about 2% of the quran, only the learned huffaz and scholars understand the actual Quran not everybody else. Just wanted to clear the misconception. Jazakallah.

I agree that Aramaic and Hebrew are similar to Arabic but what I meant was the Qur'an with the Arabic language is unique. It's just my personal opinion that the Qur'an recitation sounds better than all I've heard. In fact, I've actually listened to the Bible be recited in Aramaic. I'm an ex Christian currently gaining knowledge on Islam.

It is a fact which no one can debate that crying washes out the maladies of the heart. Crying out of fear from Allah softens the heart and cleans it from its filth. Yazeed Ibn Maysarah may Allah have mercy upon him said: “Crying happens due to one of seven things, joy, sadness, terror, to show off, pain, gratitude and out of fear from Allah one tear from which extinguishes as huge as oceans size of fire”
In His book, Allah praised those who weep out of fear from Him Saying (what means): *“Say, “Believe in it or do not believe. Indeed, those who were given knowledge before it (i.e. the righteous among the People of the Scriptures who recognize the truth contained in the Quran.) when it is recited to them, they fall upon their faces in prostration. And they say, “Exalted is our Lord! Indeed, the promise of our Lord has been fulfilled.” And they fall upon their faces weeping, and it (i.e. the Quran) increases them in humble submission.”* (Quran: 17: 107-109). Salam!

I believe most Christians would argue that being able to recite something is not equivalent to being able to understand something. You can read the words on a page, but unless you understand the words it means nothing.
