My 2nd hubby was the opposite. He constantly pissed away his options bc he wanted to put me first. Well, that was his excuse. The actual problem was he was insecure and worried that I might find someone else while he was away from home. I encouraged him to take these AMAZING opportunities. Eventually he quit. I thought it was a horrible idea. Unfortunately, I was right. He became angry & frustrated, slipped into a depression and drugs, stole from his family and friends. I left. He continued down that path and ended up in jail
