I never used a cell phone until I turned 11, and that was just to keep in touch with my parents at school. I never really felt the need for a smartphone until I got to high school and you needed to keep up with the tech because school would assign you things on the go, or you needed a decent camera to send photos. But all in all, kids should not be granted such devices at early ages...takes away from family time and some actual learning like we *used* to do. Books were and are my go-to for learning. And it's a pretty decent world out there, regardless of its evil. Tear your eyes away from the screen and look around a bit.

same except when i got untill was 14 (middle school)
My was at 8 but it was without Cellular connection but my real first one is a iPhone Se I was given one at age 9-10 look technology is the future play games outdoors and family time is sooo lame

Hwijae hosted kbs variety end of year awards but people complained that he wasn't good anymore and he was a tryhard or something. Then he hosted another end of year award show but for dramas and he made a few untasteful/lame/bad jokes and he got reallyyyy bad backlash over it.. it went on for a couple of weeks actually.
Worry about kids addicted to a smartphone while my eyes glued to it since 6 am. in the morning. //shame on me.

my nephews was addicted to smartphone too. They will cry and throw tantrum when adults tried to get back the smartphone. I was pissed off and ended up make them cried all day by not allow them to use mine/bro's anymore. That was kinda harsh but it worked :p

for young children using technology and playing with smartphones or electronics are important for their future, but parents need to be restrictive when it comes to the usage of the products. best thing is to create different limitations and all9w children to have an actice childhood.
I'm actually happy to see the father teaching them about smart phones. My necies and newphew were so addicted at such a young age that, when we all come together to play and have fun they will bug their parents and cry until they get the smartphones. I'm glad he shows he is the father and wouldnt let them win over addicting.👏👏👏

i have a little brother 10 years younger than me.. he's 8 years old. he watches youtube all the time and if no one notice him he can watch for a minimum of 5 hours straight.
my parents always scold him and told him to only use it for 1 hour each day but it works for a few days and he gets back to his habits again after that
thats when i realize that its pretty serious
he needs someone to stop him everyday after 1 hour because if not he'll get back to his addiction
but its pretty tiring to do that everyday
because its not like he will immediately stop after we ask him to.. my parents have to get mad at him to make him stop and they have to do that everyday
maybe we'll have to get rid of all our phones like hwijae does😭

They also lacks social skill and do not talk to anyone except their family. It is too horrifying to me

I have a cousin who is spoiled horribly and is extremely addicted to games and electronic devices. They are now nearing 8 years and are antisocial, shy and demanding.
However, they recently started self defense classes and are gradually becoming more responsible in their actions.
They still play games that shouldn't be exposed to for their age group. But their confidence due to the self defense classes is slowly building itself.

omg my brother is like this too! he's almost 6 years old and he started getting addicted watching videos or playing games from our pc and tablet since he was nearing his 5th year. its actually really troublesome cause even our parents are just tolerating him. its either he plays outside, or is infront of the pc or the tablet in his hands sigh
