I went to the Netherlands (Amsterdam and Rotterdam) I find Dutch people very civilized but some neighbourhoods are quite unsafe while rents are very expensive… Weather and food aren’t good also…

There are very safe countries in Europe, and that are quite affordable too. Austria, Slovenia and Czechia to name a few.

Leaving The Netherlands because of safety is one of the reasons and then naming the US as option to move to? That's a little strange, because that's a country that's everything besides safe + shootings at schools, allowed to have a gun, terrible roads / infrastructure, bad health care which can cost you thousands and thousands, that's doing 100 steps back in quality (if not more). There is no country in the world that's perfect, France also not. Bad roads, bad drivers, I went out for dinner several times and the food was really bad. I wasn't positive about The Netherlands also, but by watching many, many videos I now know how well designed and good it actually is. Perfect quality roads, etc. Yes, the weather sucks, if you like nice warmer weather like me I can understand that you choose to move to a warmer country, but the health care is one of the best, roads are very safe because it's all well designed which you can not say about France, specially for cyclists. Sometimes people have no idea what they "loose" till the moment is there. I'm following videos about a couple from the US, the man got a heart attack, if he was in the US, he would not have made it, his luck was that he was in The Netherlands. Just saying, there are a lot of good things here, so there should be also a lot of good reasons why to choose for The Netherlands.

Well, the roads aren’t bad at all where I live in France. You need a good income in the US for sure, and choose the right state.
The Netherlands isn’t a bad option, especially if you are career focused, there are just better options IMO.

@@turbosandtalks I'm planning to move out also (to Portugal), but that's because I'm originally from Portugal and love the hot weather and the landscape is soooo much nicer. The health care is bad through, but the air is cleaner, so that helps also to prevent sicknesses. I think everything depends of personal preferences.

US had roughly 300 shootings per year during the 2010s. That number rose to roughly 600 (not denying the seriousness of the problem but...)
In France, we have 120 knife attacks per day, I.E. 50 times more than shootings in the US, all of that on a territory that is 18 times smaller, and criminals are protected.
We also have a massive islamization that led to a wave of terrorist attacks that started in 2015. I remember when I was in HS, after the Plan Vigipirate was launched (a plan for enforcing the security of public places), we had to do with our class an exercise where a terrorist would enter the school with a knife. Not better than the US where people do exercises in case of a shooting. Guns are not the problem. People who carry them are. Same with knives btw.
Also, from what I've heard, Americans who are working (that detail is important) are protected by their company in case they got an injury. They can also take an insurance for 100/150$ per month but it's not mandatory, unlike in France, where it's directly taken from your taxes.
