I know for many it's a given, because it's always been the new ride of Europa Park, but Voltron standing in Europa Park is actually the best place it can be. They have the technical expertise, the manufacturer just next door seamlessly helping out with any issues, and some of the best maintenance of parks in the world. So if you have a technical complex ride, it's the place where it will probably get the best care as long as possible. Careful maintenance and longterm thinking is what we know Europa Park for. It's incredible how well all of the 100s of rides work and how little downtime they have. Even really old rides, yes they might not be the smoothest anymore, but they still work like a charm. Consistent operation and throughput is still guaranteed, it's almost like it's a timeless world where everything works together neatly.
Voltron is the analogy of a race horse. It has to be well cared for in order to provide peak performance. And that's what EP will do, I'm relatively confident.

Voltron has its own designated team of technicians at the park (as it seems) and it also seems that they are programming recovery programs for some commonly appearing errors in the ride system so that the ride crew can fix them without always setting the coaster into manual maintenance mode. I think the decision to start this model at their home park was a very smart decision. In the near future Mack could be the only manufacturer to provide a technical complex and innovative but also extremely efficient and reliable ride what up until today were the two main things you had to decide for one ore the other…

Thanks for the review. The vibration thing is already getting better....and mack Rides said they`re gonna do even more about it. I not unrealistic that this ride is not gonna get rougher but smoother in the long run because mack want to improve that 100 %. Apart from that I also think that reliability will not be an issue because mack Rides tend to fix the problems that cause those issues. Last but not least: I LOVE THAT COASTER SO MUCH !!!

Voltron is my current #1. Sadly when i did my yearly visit it was down for almost the half day :(. I still managed to get 5 rides. I dont think voltron is rough, neither do i think the lapbars are bad.

I rode Voltron about 50 times by now on multiple days and never had a downtime while standing in the queue. There once was a downtime right before my virtual line time slot, but the slot was not deleted but just postponed so that I could ride it half an hour later. So it wasn't a long downtime either. And most of the time, the downtime is quiet short, so it's ok for me. Of course I understand that people find it annoying, if they're from abroad and only have a limited time to visit the park and the ride is closed for several hours. I also find the rattling to be better now compared to some months ago but I think it still depends a bit on the train you're in. Some are better with almost no rattling at all. As for the the lapbars, I never had any issues with Mack lapbars on any coaster.
I only rode coasters throughout Europe and Voltron shares my No. 1 spot with Zadra. Can't decide which on is better 😅

Visiting Germany next month and I’ll most definitely be going to this park just for this , looks to die for!

Next month the winter season starts at europapark. I don't know if the voltron will be running there.

@@max.power89 thank you for letting me know , but I know it’s winter season soon as I’m currently holidaying in Turkey for a few months and it’s literally a 2 hour flight away from me.
Might not get too many chances to ride it in the near future while the coaster is still new as I live in Australia.
Lucky I live for the cold weather & I’m half German so I think that’s a great excuse to go anyway as I’ve never been before.
Plus , the park does operate during winter , I’m obviously not guaranteed anything , but I’m looking at staying at one of the hotels on the park grounds for a few days at least , so I might be lucky and get my chance to ride it , fingers crossed 🤞 🤭

@@max.power89 Usually all rollercoasters run in the winter season at Europa Park. Only the water rides won't

@@chricoe ok thank you. Good to know. I only live an hour away from the park, but I've never been in winter. I always thought not everything was running.

Great review, but something i want to adress: the reliability is great. Europa Park knows how to keep it's rides running and they delivered here, too. I have a season pass and Voltron is running every day fine since months... If there is an issue it's rarely down longer than 10-20 minutes and even this happens very rarely... And it runs 5-6 trains every day. It launches a train every 35 secounds, so it practically eats people for breakfast.

The single rider queue almost always guarantees you the left hand outside seat. Not sure that outweighs the benefits of single rider, but it was enough to encourage me do the main queue when I might otherwise have used SR

if i can correct you, you said Voltron is the newest attraction in the park but unfortunately it isn't. the newest attraction is Alpenexpress enzian

    • @GeorgeT370
      @GeorgeT370 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

You know that Alpenexpress was there before in a similar form....so Voltron is the last "really" new addition...
