Oh, just seen you out on a group hike! Another nice day, I was wondering where the sun had gone too, I see it is with you - again😛. OH its AUGUST 🤣, must admit I am so missing those long warm summer days, sick of the weather we have been getting. All the best, Kaat
Hello Kaat, how are you? I hope your keeping well and getting out to go hiking. The views were very good on this one! x
@@ramblingracheltrailtales I don't go out as often as I like to, but that's what happens when life gets to buzy. But tomorrow I'm out for a day. I'm really looking forward to that! 😉
Enjoy your day off. Here in England, we’ve had heavy rain throughout November. Hoping for a dry spell. 😊
@@ramblingracheltrailtales I don't think the weather will be good. We had a lot of rain as well. But a grey day out is always better then a day in the office! 😉
Hi Rachel - new subscriber, discovering your video when looking for walks in the church stretton area (other than long mynd!) for me and the wife to head for later this summer. we loved the look of this circluar walk, so will be adding it to our list for our shropshire camping trip later in the year! Lovely to discover you are Northants based like us as well and also like to get out and do a spot of Geocaching! will now have to go back through all your vids to catch up and see what else tickles our fancy to try!
Hi 👋 thank you for subbing and taking the time to comment. Shropshire’s great, it has some fantastic hills with beautiful countryside to explore 🤩 I do like Geocaching but haven’t done it in a while, I must get back into the swing of it soon. Thank you 😊
Wow, this is fantastic, and lovely to see you taking up new challenges! must have been a little terrifying, but also, what a great adventure! I love the view from above, such an amazing place !
Yeah, it's only this year I've been doing the bigger hikes by myself and going solo. I do like the challenge. Shropshire is a beautiful county and will return next year hopefully. Thank you for watching. xx
Watched this on telly but here to comment. Enjoyed your video. Shropshire is a lovely county with loads of ace places to explore. Caer Caradoc is on my list of places to go. Nice one🙂👍
Hello 👋 Glad you enjoyed it. It really was an enjoyable day hike. Can’t wait to return in the near future. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Xx

Thanks for hitting that thumbs up button 👌
Evening Rach, what a great hike. The views were awsome, them pesky false summits !! I wonder what happened to the trig point 🤔
I think the 3 fingers were the ones on the right, they defo looked it to me anyway
Ice cream to finish off to, I would of gone for vanilla though
Great video rach and speak soon x
Thanks for watching Alan. I wouldn't mind returning to Caer Caradoc and attempting a wild camp up there. It's do-able! Have a great week x
@@ramblingracheltrailtales oooh a wild camp sounds good rach, I work down that way quite a bit but it’s always looked a little flat … obviously not looking in the right places 😂
Don't you just love false summits? It's a sure way of testing your resolve sometimes. But you managed the ups and downs fairly well. It was a nice but windy day. I enjoyed the info on the hill - the ice cream looked pretty reasonable to once you got it. A well deserved treat. All the best. Mark
Hi Mark, this was probably one of the best hike days from this year. Shropshire is underrated as a hiking location, I loved every minute of it. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. Have a great week and all the best ☺️
@@ramblingracheltrailtales The only place I've hiked in Shropshire is the Long Mynd Rachel and I loved that. I know the borders though and yes great hiking around there. Good to hear of your joy on this one. A pleasure.
Fabulous video Rachel. It looks like an amazing area. Did you figure out which rocks were the three fingers? (I see some good wild camping spots!)
Not entirely if I found the Three Fingers Rock but glad, I amended my route to cover whole plateau of Caer Caradoc. It's a really impressive hill 😍
Also, I have no idea where the cave is that Caradoc hid in. 😬 Gives me an excuse to do it again! Thanks for watching. Enjoy your nose trail tomorrow! xx
@@ramblingracheltrailtales Will do - the weather is looking great. I'll DM you, as I have an idea about next weekend. :-)
1:54 That's all the steep, makes my Yorkshire look flat.
There’s some good hills in Shropshire 🥰
