    This product is AMAZING! I just picked up the super size bottle from QVC, so now I can go crazy with it because I have a ton! My hair loves this stuff (which is absolutely proof that it’s not a protein treatment because my hair HATES anything with protein).

    Great video and your hair is beautiful. I like to have straight and curly hair. When I go from straight to curly I make sure I do a full routine of Olaplex. And my hair never fail to go back curly. I love Olaplex and they have a sale on their website. You can get 3, 4 and 5 the big bottles for 84.00. Earlier this month they had 3, 4, 5 & 7 smaller bottles for 60.00.

      Hi, curly hair is definitely more work than have straight hair. The past 2 years I have been trying a lot of different things with my hair. There are a lot of natural ways to achieve healthy hair as well, that are definitely more affordable. I will be back posting soon and I plan on talking and showing different ways to achieve healthy hair.

    Hello, I'm new to your channel and I know this was a long time ago. But I've got coily curly hair that I color. So, I've got a couple of questions. Your hair is beautiful. Do you color it? What kind of brush/comb do you use? I've never brushed or combed my curly hair because I didn't want the curls to be ruined and get unwound. But I see you do this and your hair bounces back beautifully. Also, always after washing, I get loads of tangles under my hair. Do you? Thank you, Christy

    • @laurenfoster6482
      @laurenfoster6482  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Christy! My apologies for the delayed response. When I made this video, only the tips of my hair were colored from when I bleached it years ago. The color you see on majority of my hair is my natural color. My tip is comb your hair wet and apply your product at the same time. Make sure you are using a good conditioner and deep conditioner, always comb your hair out when you apply you conditioner. It really helps with the tangles. I will often use a brush like these: BRUSHZOO Detangling Brush Set with Hair Spray bottle, Hair Brushes for Women men and Kids Curly Hair, Curly Hair Brush for Natural 3/4abc Hair with Detangler Brush 9 Row Brush Wide Tooth comb (Red) a.co/d/7zpZKWO
      I hope I answered your questions. Please let me know if you have anymore😊

    Do you apply no 3 to dirty hair that already has curly hair product left in from the last wash day?? I'm thinking of ordering this because I do use heat every second month

  • @kay6480
    @kay6480 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    These past few months, I’ve really been taking care of my hair (I’ve been transitioning for 10-11 months, but for a majority of those months I had absolutely no clue what I was doing, othering than not using heat on my hair). I thought I had a different hair type, but now I realize that my hair looks exactly like yours when it dries (definitely not as good as yours). I’m really considering getting olaplex (no 3 and maybe no 6) but they’re so pricey 😭 but I feel like my hair will look a tiny bit better if I use it.

    • @laurenfoster6482
      @laurenfoster6482  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I’ve always been somewhat natural most of my life but I after I permed my hair like 11 or 12 years ago, I had no idea how to do my curly hair. I thought I was doing it right but now looking back I’m shacking my head at myself. I wish I had TH-cam back then to help but it’s all good. So I totally understand when you said you felt like you didn’t know what you were doing. If you ever need any tips or questions feel free to shoot me a dm on Instagram I’d love to help. As far as olaplex, it is pricey I get a lot of comment talking about the price and I totally agree especially right now during the pandemic, money is tight for a lot of people. I’d say try it at-least once so you can see for yourself. If you do like it try and get it every other month or every 2 months. I’ll be posting new videos on ways to get your hair stronger and healthier without having to buy expensive products as well so stay tuned 😊

  • @mimzyLassiter
    @mimzyLassiter 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I ordered the products, all but the shampoo and conditioner. I too have 3C hair so this was a good tutorial for me. I’ve heard you should apply the product, #0 and/or #3 to dry hair. If I have slight buildup and want to shampoo first to clean the hair and scalp, do I have to let the hair dry first before applying #0 and/or #3? Thanks.

    • @laurenfoster6482
      @laurenfoster6482  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi, you don’t have to necessarily let it dry. I will sometimes spray my hair with water first to help the product apply better on my hair. So after you shampoo you can wrap your hair with a tshirt or whatever you use for a few minutes then go ahead and apply.

    I did try product 0 and 3. I have dry type 2 wavy very damaged hair. Application wasn’t easy as I have a lot of hair. Next time I’ll ask a friend to help with application. I did everything step by step. Except I didn’t use olaplex shampoo or conditioner. The results were pretty good . To be fair my hair is very damaged already.
    My hair looks better more curl etc. I’ve been trying to avoid silicones and some of olaplex products have them( not this treatment). I’m actually thinking about going back to WEN and using No3 once a week. The kit was 85..00 which included 0 and 3 and 8 mask. I didn’t use mask because it contained silicones. The only thing I can say I don’t like it that it takes a whole bottle of 0 for one application on my hair How can anyone afford a bottle a week? The #3 is creamy and I still have a lot left. Also be careful with application of 0 as it was very watery and the applicator only squirts out a little. IMO I will have someone help me with application. Overall not a bad deal if you can afford a bottle a week. 4 out of 5 stars.

      @@shainavillanueva9322 Olaplex will definitely help getting your curls back to normal overtime since you just bleached it. I would just say make sure to give your hair that extra attention it needs to help getting your curls were you want them.

    After how long do you notice a difference in your hair .. and when is the result really visible?

    • @laurenfoster6482
      @laurenfoster6482  3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      First let me say everyone’s hair is different, they say after the first use your hair gets stronger. I would say for me after the first month I really started to notice ( 4 uses ). If your hair is more damaged, I would do 2x a week. All I will say is stay consistent and make sure your hair is always hydrated. I hope I helped you out a bit.

      A little bit does go along way. You can try ordering the smaller bottles she mentioned.

    Do you apply this on unwashed or clean hair?

    • @laurenfoster6482
      @laurenfoster6482  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Your suppose to do it on unwashed hair, but if you have a lot of build up in your scalp I’d wash it first, so olaplex will penetrate better in your hair.

    Amazon is selling fake Olaplex 3. Under Details about the product there’s a green link that says See more. This is what they actually put in the bottle as opposed to the real list of ingredients.

      Oh no that’s not good, I saw a while back in one of my curly girl groups that they saw the same thing. I hope no one is getting hair damaged from whatever ingredients they are putting in the fake one. Y’all please stay clear of Amazon for these products 🙏🏽

  • @atyrasworld

    Do you have to use it permanently or does it slowly repair your hair? I'm kinda concerned about cost of continuously buying the product.
