Build quality for sure could b n issue, and that’s there in almost all Korean cars launched in India. But totally disagree with the stability. I drove above 160/170 and that too for long distance like Mumbai to Goa, always feel it’s full under control, even when switching lane at that speed, it’s like butter😂

I own seltos 2022 model and its a really stable even on 120,140kmph..i took test drive of scorpioN last week and on only at 100_110 it was not stable i have video as well.

I own both VW Virtus and Kia Seltos. I'll agree Virtus is better in driving dynamics but Sletos isn't bad. It's stability is amazing even at high speeds. GNCAP aside I disagree on the confidence argument.

Built quality of Seltos is top notch. I doesn't score well on safety rating because of not using high strength steel to keep costs low. But it is loaded with safety features. And fit an finish and interior material used is just refined and top qaulity. Non of the indian csr makers are even close. If Kia decides to score a 5 star, then other manufactures will be doomed.

In real world, seltos is one of the composed and stable vehicle on highway because of it's super stiff suspension. But a person knowing very less about physics, vehicles and common sense only follow trends!
This is just a psychological delusion of people after GNCAP 3 star rating of SELTOS, before gncap ratings every owner and auto reviewe , youtubers used to praise KIA SELTOS for its build quality and excellent stability. The Kerb weight of Seltos diesel is a decent 1361 kg which is more than Nexon ,brezza , Grand vitara , ecosports , duster , Ertiga etc. The thing is 3 star rating of Seltos was mainly because of airbags getting bottomed out on impact (As per gncap official statement) which reduced total 4 points from its overall safety score and thats why it got 8.03/17 score and 3 star rating otherwise it would have been 4 star rated had its airbags performed well. Moreover KIA SELTOS’s bodyshell was rated as "Borderline case" unstable and NOT completely UNSTABLE like Tata Tiago/Tigor , Honda City , Renault Kiger/Triber , XUV500 etc.
