- New photos appear to capture the first appearance of Kate Middleton in more than two months as she recovers from an abdominal surgery she underwent in January. Buckingham Palace declined to comment. NBC’s Molly Hunter reports for TODAY.

My gosh, stomach surgery, is nothing to take lightly, my husband, had three Hernia fixed and was in bed for 6 weeks and then still had to take it easy, my daughter, had an Urachal Cyst that was the size of a small Nerf foot ball, that took out one fallopian tube, she was out for 8 weeks, again taking her time to heal. Don't people have other things to worry about then Princess Catherine, let the woman heal, she doesn't owe anyone knowing her medical care. ❤
What a tribute the many family members, household staff, health care staff and Kensington Palace staff have paid to Katherine, Princess of Wales, at this time of her recuperation. This time has without a doubt exhibited the respect, the love and the loyalty the Princess has earned. Get better soon. You are missed by the world.

I expected Today to be more on top of this story. It has been reported the woman in the car isn't Kate! Her mother wouldn't casually drive her around while the world looked for her to appear.
The lady in the car is Catherine. It was reported this picture was snapped of her after she dropped the kids off at school, her mum was driving them.
