I am so happy that you are doing these. I got the BUTT NAKED oil and I HAAAAAAATE it so much. lol. I'm a "scent" girl and love when something smells good but that wasn't it for me.
I know that a LOT of people may like it, so it's not going to shelved but knowing me? probably just make limited runs with that fragrance.

Aztec has a strong true leather if you haven’t tried them. Being from Texas as well. Customers LOVE IT.
Glad I came across your channel. I ordered some FOs from Wellington. I have stumbled across a ton of mixed reviews on their fragrance oils in candles. Most of the negative reviews were very weak HT especially for the FOs that are dupes. The reviews stated that the FOs are strong OOTB, but once in candles using 6%-10% the HT just isn't there.
I'm worried I just wasted money, but you live and learn.
Have you ever ues SG's candle dye for your aroma beads? If so, do you recommend it or do you prefer mica or pigments?

Thank you and you’re welcome! Since you already make candles I’m sure you already know all about trying to choose the best fragrances! It’s tough spending money to try them and it being somewhat wasted when you get oil you can’t use…..it’s a lot of trial and error and it can get expensive. Freshies are a great addition to a candle business, I’m sure your customers will love them!

Have you tried the Crimson candle co? I tried one of their fragrance oils Bird of paradise wasn't impressed. Just was curious wondering about other ones?
Okay question? What is the difference between essential oil and Fragrance oil…. Can we use both? And if we can what do you prefer?
First do you measure your freshies by fl oz? I'm having trouble getting my scents strong. Also at lonestar have you tried Rainfall blossoms which is extremely light but clean, black cherry an bowties an bourbon, pure Seduction?
So I do weigh my beads and oil. On my scale I can choose between lb:oz and fl oz. I use the lb:oz function….there’s some debate on which setting your scale should be on but I weighed the same object on both the settings and the difference was very small. I think the important thing is to weigh both the beads and oil on the same setting but you can choose either one. I wouldn’t weight the beads on lb:oz and then weigh the oil on fl oz, I believe that will throw your ratio off.
I have not tried any of those from Lone Star…..I have tried bow ties and bourbon from Aztec and it was pretty light.
I want to find a strong Beachy, coco butter scent, but so far I’m not having any luck. Any ideas?

How do you make your scents?
I'm looking for a copy of Scentsy's Blue Grotto. I read that it's a copy of Volcano, Capri Blue
Does Blue Grotto have a heavy grapefruit scent? If not then it’s not going to be similar to volcano.
Lonestar Candle company has the best Leather hands down
I like the way their leather smells the most but I wish it was stronger and lasted longer 😕
@@FarmhouseDesigns it’s by far my best seller that and Leather & Lace which I make myself! It just takes forever and a day to cure into the beads 🤣😂
In your opinion which Company do you like the most and worked the best for you ?
I think out of the ones I’ve used Buy It Ship It would be my favorite for a couple of reasons 1) They are focused more towards freshie supplies rather then candles so most of their fragrances are really fitted for cars and they offer fragrances that a lot of candle companies don’t offer because they aren’t “candle favorites” 2) They have amazing customer service 3) They process and ship their orders faster than anyone else I’ve ordered from 4) Their oils are some of the strongest that I’ve tried. Lone Star is a good company with good oils but majority of their scents are better for candles and not so much for car freshies but they definitely have some that are great! I recently placed and order with The Flaming Candle and I was really pleased with everything I received so I would have to add them to the top 3. In my honest opinion Aztec was the one I liked the least, their prices are good but I really believe their oils aren’t to the standards of the companies I mentioned above, maybe they cut their oils with something, I don’t know but I can’t say that I will ever order from them again.

I have trouble with the Leather absorbing into my beads. Is there a trick? I've tried different bead brands and use the same amount of oil as other scents.
Hi Liz! I make freshies as well and leather always takes a long time to absorb. It's not just you, don't worry. Some people put them outside in the heat to allow it to absorb faster. Just don't put it in direct sunlight, I've been told that doing so will turn the beads yellow but I can't say it's happened to me.

Hi! Can you or anyone help me find a strong coffee scent? I have a customer who wants a scent that literally smells like you stick your head in a folgers or maxwell can haha. All the ones I see online are coffee but have like caramel or stuff added and I’m scared to order!
Unfortunately I have never tried a coffee scent so I don’t have any recommendations although I can say that I’ve seen the debate on a good coffee scent and it seems like it can be hard to find. In that discussion there were some that were recommended by other freshie makers……”Brazilian coffee” from Buy It Ship It, “Coffee house” from The Flaming Candle and “Starbucks” from Aztec. How long will a freshie stay fresh packaged in one of the polypropylene bags?
I have tested up to 3 months and it was still great, it potential could have lasted even longer but it’s hard to say if all oils and fragrances will hold up that long.
can i use designer perfume ? like a oz of prada candy.?
No, that is 80-90% alcohol. I would assume it’s not safe to bake also it would be crazy expensive! However you can buy the fragrance oil in that scent….here is a link below. In the drop down selection choose the “pure oil” not the roll on, spray, burning or others it should just say “1 oz pure oil” “4 oz pure oil” whatever size you’re looking for

What area are you based out of? Have you tried high maintenance from lonestar? And I agree with the butt naked..I don't get the hype lol. Not bad just overrated
I’m in TX, right between Austin and Houston. I have not tried high maintenance although that’s one I have considered trying a few times. I’m glad someone agrees with me on the butt naked, there are SO many other amazing fragrances I don’t understand how this one is so popular!

@@jacytomlinson1192 Yes! And I think even more popular in the smaller towns in TX. The “sweet grace” fragrance I mentioned is like the diva in it’s popularity but in other states. Do you shop from Buy It Ship It? Their showroom is in Humble which is pretty close to you correct? You could check them out in person if you haven’t already, I’m planning on making the trip there sometime this month and I’m SO excited! Jealous you live so close!

@@jacytomlinson1192 definitely do! I wish I wouldn’t have waited so long to try their oils, since I did it’s been a game changer! Today I was edging my yard and no lie I could smell the freshie from outside of my car, windows all rolled up and everything, it’s been in there for about two weeks already and it’s not even one of the strongest scents (cowgirl britches). Also their beads are $25 for 10 lbs which is the best deal I’ve found, good beads too!
