Excellent playing, really well matched to the live sets. I'm going to try the CK88 at Yamaha London on Friday, really looking forward to it! Thanks for uploading
Greg those chords at 8:45 sounds like Sunday morning at a Pentecostal Baptist Church all day!!!!!!!!! Nice man!!! Just brought this board 5 mins ago!!! Can’t wait for it to arrive
dude.....those freakin chord progressions are amazing! Excellenrt style & techniques and use of pad pedal.. And of course the CK88 sounds extraordinary!.
Hi Lutz, i´m very impressed with what you just did with these presets! I just acquired the CK 61 for some gigs that I normally do . I am very interested to by this pack
Excuse me but for Yamaha CK 88 could you please be so kind to give more details about Acoustic Piano setting ? Did you change cut off and res, if so at what level ? Did you change internal Eq or just use those three knobs on the right ? What about compression ? And also did you modify attack and resonance ? Sorry for all these questions but for me it is so difficult to set the keyboard to have a good sound like yours, there are too many parameters. Thank you.
Thanks for your interest but I kindly ask for your understanding that even I don't exactly remember what's been used exactly. Quite some time ago I needed to figure out how to get there and so can you. 😉 If you want to save time maybe consider purchasing the Live Set collection. Professional sound design is a part of my - by far not yet Musk-like 😂 - income so again thanks for your understanding that I can't answer your questions in detail.
Nice demo. How much "mastering" was done? I can hear some distortion. Help me out as I'm new to Yamaha, what exactly are you selling? Are these just combo sounds you put together? Something I couldn't do myself? My 88 is being delivered Thursday, excited!
Thank you for your kind feedback. As for the “mastering” mentioned earlier, a maximizer was basically used to increase the volume. Unfortunately, this is apparently essential on TH-cam these days. Great that you ordered it. You already get great preset live sets straight away. I think the product description explains everything pretty well and I think there's no point in copying parts of it into this answer. Please refer to it if you haven't yet. Thanks in advance. And of course you can do it yourself, no "magic" is used. 😉. easysoundsshop.de/en/yamaha-ck6188/211/ck61/88-player-s-selection

@@stephenlennartz3466 Thank YOU again! We're looking forward to hear your opinion about the CK88 and maybe later our Live Set Library. Looking forward to hear from you soon. 😀

Apologies, but it is simply not possible to help with a decision between CK and MODX(+). The requests of musicians - as well as the instrument types - are so very different. If you are happy to read I can share two PDF documents that might help to get the difference of the series. musicproductionguide.eu/EKG/CK_EKG_EN.pdf musicproductionguide.eu/EKG/MODX%2B_EKG_EN.pdf Maybe this provides some criteria. Thanks for your understanding.
A CK88 is perfect for contemporary worship music. Especially with 3 layers, and with Pads being heavily used, very easy to bring them in/out. I have both CK61/88 and play at church. Hope this helps

Thanks for your request. We will not produce additional videos on CK61. The instruments are technically the same apart from the instrument's size and keyboard. Beside a very rare amount of Live Sets all of them are working on the CK61 as they do on the CK88. The product site of this library provides a downloadable content list which containn more information. HTH.
Apologies, but it is almost not possible to compare CK and MODX(+). The requests of musicians - as well as the instrument types - are so very different. @@timothymmope6208 I'd say the oerall sound quality is pretty similar. Both instruments represent the mid class in their category. At the end of the day the signal that leaves the speaker - influenced by all additional used components - will always be good and sufficient for the "typical use case". 😉
Thanks so much for your kind feedback and yes, Lutz is an outstanding talented musician. And the CP is a great instrument with (IMHO) one of the best keyboard action on the market in this instrument category.
You’ve made this instrument sound awesome. Might be the best choice of layers I’ve heard put together on CK vids. Wow.
