By far the best and most detailed teaching how to slap a pizza, better then many Pizzaiolo Celebs, that I've watched here, You just nailed it right down to the right movement with great Video Maker. Diana, You Must Teach Baking, because you just So Talented for it! Thanks for the info.
i just started 6 weeks ago as a delievery expert. JUst got promoted 5 days ago to manager and begin on this coming monday. I tried it for the first time ( Stretching) and i found it difficult as well. BUT after 5-6 horrible pizzas lol i got the concept, BUT THIS........THIS IS GOLD!!! def help alot of people.....you got this!!
Diane, From someone who watches thousands of cookery videos- especially how to make pizza videos-this is probably the very best. Very professional use of overhead camera, no bull. etc! Excellent.
Just discovered your video. I’ve seen others but I find your technique the easiest to understand and follow. You just earned another subscriber! Thanks so much for sharing. More power and more vids from you!
Thanks for the tips!! My crust came out so much better than it had in the past. The real pro tip was about the top and the bottom of the crust. Have never heard about that before. What a difference!!! Thank you!!
Diana, I really really appreciated you taking the time to show me how to do this. I've been making great pizza for 40 years and I always worked waaaay to hard getting right shape all those years. I'm getting serious now. Got the right flour and formulas, awesome sauce of my own and the right convection oven. So many people give the wrong advice about shaping pizza, you are totally on point. Thanx again.
wow, I have watched a ton of pizza videos, and made many pies, but learned a lot from that excellent instructional. I had not seen that tucking in of the rim before... wish the audio was better... thanks...
Such a useful video, been studying technique and most breeze past this very, very important technique. Thank you so much for recognizing the need and going through step by step and the “Whys” which is what penetrates it into memory. Blessings your way 5stars!
Thank you for sharing the correct sides on the crust, I’ve been making pizza lately and deduced that this way of sides was the very best indeed, yet when I’d watch people on TH-cam again and again and again I’d see them ignorantly just going about there business making the top side of the dough the top side of the crust, and they were claiming to be making it the best possible way, thankfully you confirmed how it is and I can rest assured that my instinct or reason was correct
Diana Thank you so much for your professional technique for stretching the pizza dough , I learned much from you, however I do a lot of pizzas for my kids but I'll try to do the same way you did in this video.. Wow.. really amazing.. thanks once again
Gorgeous pizza! It looks very appetizing! Crispy and so tempting! I will definitely try to make it! Thanks for sharing the recipe. I wish you more culinary victories! I made something for you too....
I just saved this video. I've been struggling with how to do this, and this is the simplest demonstration I have seen. The only issue I'm going to have is that I don't have the years of experience so I will (in all likelihood) absolutely mangle more pizza crusts, which I will of course still eat. Such is the price of learning.
It is not necessary for the cheekies and insolents to reveal their anger to the helpful people . Thousands of thanks to you "Daiana" . May God bless you .⚘⚘😘😘
Bravo!!! I love the little army and wave! I wouldn’t have wanted to pick it up when you did to hand toss because it already looked perfect!!! ❤️🌹 thank you
@ComradeWhite I believe the way she's stretching her dough out before she(uses her hand as a guide to further stretch the dough) puts it on the screen, it reduces the bubbles. She explains that you can hear the bubbles popping before she begins to stretch the dough.
Diana, great video instructional. Why do you place on a disc rather than place in oven directly without the disc? Any advantage besides maybe making less of a mess in the oven? Thanks.
Hi Diana Was looking at Fabio's recipe, and was wondering if you would share your thin crust recipe. The video for shaping the pizza base was great, Thanks
I enjoy making pizza at home but shaping the dough has always been hit or miss. Thank you for a tutorial that was well presented and understandable even to a novice like me. Any chance you could share some tips on making a great sauce?
hi Diana i watch u videos and i love it specialy when u make the large one, just i wan to asking something do u have a recipe for make the pizza dough i live at galveston tx, thank for sharing videos , i hope u have a wonderful day
Diana thank you for taking time to do this video. I for one appreciate the trouble you took to do this... can you please give me the name of the flour you mix with pizza flour in the video? Thanks again
Youre pretty good at that missy! gave me a few pointers to work with. Noticably you shape it str8 from the rising ball shape, whereas just about everyone Ive seen works the dough again..I will experiment with the results of doing that, but can I ask, is it a second rise?
Got to be the best video Iv seen for this. What’s the recipe for the dough please. As my dough mix doesn’t stretch that good and retracts back ? Thanks Oz
Thanks for the video as I was struggling how to slap pizza in my first shift at domino's it was tough for me because I never slapped a pizza before but now I have a clear idea of how to slap the pizza. It looks easy.
Hi there Diana thanks for your this VDO is very helpful for me i have a question for you How can i make pizza base even (my pizza base gets thinner from the center and thicker from the edges) need some help thank you
Good on you mate. Not sure how a 5 time Canadian champ can be so bad...If you believe half these comments! I think you're great. I'm a pizza maker myself and I'm always researching new things. Videos like this are a useful tool.Pizza is in a class all by itself.
Thanks benjamin! I don't believe half the comments :), but I am very grateful that this video gives trolls the opportunity to do something meaningful with their lives :)! haha
haha, yes, I mean to say, the video gives them the opportunity to do something meaningful, but whether they choose to or not, that's entirely up to them.
Great video, Diana....thank you for posting it. Could you also post your dough recipe or at least a good, basic pizza dough recipe? There are a lot of different recipes out there, with the biggest variables being adding or omitting sugar and oil. Thank you!
Diana, I've been making pizza for about five years. I'm getting better at it now a days but I still need to learn how to shape it better than I do and your video really is helpful. I'm gonna make some pizza tomorrow night. How long do you bench rest it? Is that the same as second rise? I take it you did an overnight cold rise fermentation in the fridge, is that right? Thanks.
So many people explain this process so fast, thank you for taking the time to slow it down so we can actually learn how to do it properly! :)
Thank you Diana! I see why you are considered to be a champion pizza maker. That's the very best demonstration of dough stretching I have ever seen!
No kidding?
By far the best and most detailed teaching how to slap a pizza, better then many Pizzaiolo Celebs, that I've watched here, You just nailed it right down to the right movement with great Video Maker.

Very good video Diane. The tip to mix Sem/Flour was helpful. Also, explaining why bottom is bottom/top is top was also very helpful. Thanks!

thats so nice work, the dough looks very nice, can you please teach how to make dough like that? thank you
A great video Diana. You left nothing unsaid. I'll have to freeze frame the tossing to get that right.
Bravo!!! I love the little army and wave! I wouldn’t have wanted to pick it up when you did to hand toss because it already looked perfect!!! ❤️🌹 thank you

That has to be the roundest hand stretched pizza base I've ever seen. Impressive!
Excellent instruction. I only wish that I could do it as well --- maybe someday.
Youre pretty good at that missy! gave me a few pointers to work with. Noticably you shape it str8 from the rising ball shape, whereas just about everyone Ive seen works the dough again..I will experiment with the results of doing that, but can I ask, is it a second rise?

Do you let your dough warm up a bit before stretching it out?
Clear demonstration thank u👍
Thanks for the video as I was struggling how to slap pizza in my first shift at domino's it was tough for me because I never slapped a pizza before but now I have a clear idea of how to slap the pizza. It looks easy.

Hey thanks Diana you make that look so easy. Can you reveal your dough recipe? Or is it a trade secret?
good job, can i ask how much the dough weighed?
