Hello Dolls! 🎀 This topic is heavy on my heart. ♥️ Of course, there’s so much that goes into this topic that I didn’t get a chance to fully covered, but I hope this CONNECTS & HELPS any of you Dolls out there. WE ARE BEAUTIFUL 💘 WE ARE STRONG & FEMININE & GENTLE 💓 I would to speak more on this topic in the future. Let me know what you Dolls think about that! What is YOUR STORY? 💓♥️
Girl we are so alike! I feel like I can relate to you sooo much! 😭😭😭 many people think “I act white” or “ Deb, I see you marrying a white guy” because I’m not your everyday tough independent outspoken black girl. I used to think I was an outsider from the black community because of that, and it’s ridiculous because God did not create all black women to have the same personality. I am a girly, bubbly, goofy, anime loving, romance films lover, old school traditional, Crazy in love with JESUS 😍 BLACK WOMEN. And I am not ashamed. 🌸
This is the first femininity channel aimed at black women that I've come across that embraces our natural hair and I want to thank you. Anyone is free to do whatever they want with their hair but our natural hair is so political and misunderstood (to put it kindly) even by our own people and I believe that we need to do what we can to change that. I'm subbed to a hypergamy channel and I appreciate the content generally but in a video on how to attract a high value man, the advice given was that men like long, straight hair. That put me out of the picture right away! Lol! I so love my hair and I raised my daughter to appreciate hers as well.... its gorgeous and so, so versatile! Chemical straightening, bone straight wigs or weaves... nothing wrong with that if that's your choice, but God gave us amazing hair & now wigs & weaves that represent us! You seem very wise for your (I assume) young age. Keep up the good work! I admire your lifestyle. Sending you continued blessings from beautiful Barbados. Subbed.
Hi Doll! This means so much to 🥰💗💗 I can’t believe the video said that 😭🤦🏽♀️ I thought we were all moving past those beauty standards. I’m happy to see you on my channel. Much LOVE ❤️❤️❤️ to you in Barbados!🇧🇧
Thank you for addressing natural hair and femininity. A lot of femininity channels mostly portray straight hair, straight weave, or straight wigs when it comes to looking feminine. I went to the farmers market and the home depot one day wearing this pretty dress and my natural 4c hair in a high puff and I did not feel good about myself because I did not match the hair look in the other femininity videos. I felt like I did not look feminine because of my 4c hair 🥺. And it's funny because I used to feel feminine and beautiful with my natural hair before I started watching those videos. I may have to stop watching certain channels if the images of BW with straight hair are hurting me this much. They have good advice, and they are trying to help everyone, but the hair thing... 😔. I thought that I would be able to handle it but obviously I can't. Or I can try listening to those videos without looking at it. Anyways, thank you for saying that "natural hair will always be feminine & beautiful" and thank you for showing images of beautiful natural hair. 😊💕 And your hair looks very beautiful. 😊👑
I’m so happy that you’re overcoming that. It’s definitely something I’ve had to overcome. I wanted to make sure that us black women can feel beautiful in our natural state. I don’t want us to fall victim to the Eurocentric beauty standards paint. Showing representation of feminine black women with natural hair is so important to me for that very reason you said. I know the people we spend time with & the things we watch can be impactful. So definitely surround yourself with people who encourage & celebrate our culture! We are BEAUTIFUL and our NATURAL HAIR is BEAUTIFUL. ❤️💗
I’ve felt that way for a long time! Learning to love my culture & my roots really helped me embrace who I am! Also learning about femininity helped me lot! 💓 I realized, yes I’m allowed to be a FEMININE, MANNERED, EDUCATED woman & still be black. & black woman could still be feminine no matter what their background is 🥰
I’m so surprised and glad that you said it doesn’t matter what shade of brown you are. A lot of black people don’t realize we are all brown just a lighter or darker shade of it. Just like in a crayon box. You have light blue, blue, and then dark blue but they are all blue. Much love princess.
I can relate to you so much about this, Ebony. I remember being the shy, soft-spoken girl in 6th grade and other black girls would tell me "oh you're too white. You think you're better." I always thought it was wrong that speaking well meant I wasn't "black enough." Being a black woman isn't simply monolithic and that should be normalized. Great video!
I love that you celebrate our natural hair! I literally looked for a feminine channel with a sister with beautiful coiled hair, and found you ❤️🌹🙂. Thank you for this. It’s perfect.
ive always been a more quiet black woman and into feminity and love feminine things thats just my nature some in the past have seen it as a weakness but I try to see it as a strength and that God made me this way to love being a homemaker and stay at home wife and mother we all are gifted certain ways and my husband also desires this type of woman not a loud pushy or a woman that has a careeer. He dont mind me working but loves me staying home.
I totally relate with being told I act white, I talk white, I’m weird or different ( for liking anime and listening to certain music, I’m pretty for being dark. It’s just crazy how I’m now learning how to be more feline and how to embrace my natural black self. I really appreciate TH-cam and social media because I did not have a lot of feminine women guide me and show me to love myself as am. I also agree with your view points on modesty 💯
That pink top is 😍😍 I love your channel! I'm older but I'm learning alot from you about culture. These stereotypes are ridiculous. For everyone. Be who you are, do what you love, look how you want and wear what you want! And I'm going to say that those natural curls are seriously gorgeous. And very, very feminine and pretty. And yes on modesty!! I grew up in the era of Naomi Campbell and Dianne Carroll. If you ever heard of a show called Dynasty in the 80's, she was in it. Oh the hair and fashion were 🔥
So happy to have found your page ! Just a tip: turn the background music off or lower it while you’re talking so it’s easier to hear you/focus on what you’re saying. Otherwise, thank you for blessing us with your page !💕
Thank you so so much for making this amazingly insightful video! I am a new subscriber and all of this content solidified who I am as a black woman and delving deeper into my femininity ❤ Thank you so much!
Hey 👋 I felt the need to tell you this, I just want to let you know that every girl has a girly side to in them, I don’t believe in this “Tom boy” word, who is Tom? And why is he a boy identifying to a girl? 😅 lol hope that made sense. I had to pray to God to make me more girly and feminine and trust girl, the giggles and smiles came! Lol God was truly working in me. The Bible says ask and you shall receive. Blessings love 💕 😘 🌺
I have really long relaxed hair, my on hair, and people tell me I should be "standing up for natural hair": what on the world does that mean !!? Well it means " I'm not 'black enough '". I don't think this is going to make a difference to God on judgement day, so I let them speak. As black women we have so many choices when it comes to hairstyles :why not celebrate each others' beauty instead of arguing?
The one thing I can’t give up is color in my hair 🤣 it makes me feel confident. Luckily my husband doesn’t mind it. But I also understand it doesn’t come off as professional, being a homemaker gives me a little freedom to do what I want to with my hair. However I’m taking the color out soon cause I signed up to volunteer for a few things in my community so I want to look a little more polished.
This video was very informative!!!!💯💯 a great one- i have a question tho: is an afro a 'loud' hairstyle? I always question myself- cuz my hair appears veeeeeery big when i wear it out/in an afro.....
@@EbonyNikitaElegance OmG thanks for answering my question!!!💕💕💕💕💕💕- and i'll try to wear it more often- and not be kinda 'ashamed' of it (although i get a lot of compliments on my hair- and sometimes dumb comments). May god bless you and USE you since you have this platform- wish you all the best!!🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Eres un ser humana irresistiblemente atractiva Me gusta mucho tu personalidad (You are an irresistibly attractive human being I like your personality )
The first part is so relatable! I’m South African and I live in Sandton(which is associated with being rich and white people) , so people automatically assume I’m not black enough because I’m very feminine and speak fluent English. And it’s so annoying because I speak 6/11 of the official languages FLUENTLY, the amount of effort that takes for someone to just decide my entire persona or cultural awareness off the way I speak English and dress is annoying But it’s okay I have hope for the future generations of our country 🎀
We should also dress more feminine we black women should stop wearing hoodies sweatshirts basketball caps we should stop playing basketball stop getting tattoos stop listening to rap listen to more rnb and hip hop and black women should stop wearing rainbow color weaves stick to natural colors of weave and stop wearing I love weave honestly blonde hair

Iam so glad all these channels about feminity are popping up. It is time we bw walk into our feminity again.
I definitely agree! ❤️❤️

Wow thank you for this message! This is a real raw issue for black women, because of how we’re “expected” to be but sometimes I wanna be rescued too!

Lol Thank you love! I’m in my early 20s 🥰
I don’t like hideous / distracting nail art either. I typically stick to either a short French manicure, red polish, or a nude nail polish. 💅🏽
