Kleptomaniac is tied to the mischief skill. A level 10 mischief kleptomaniac can steal Shmapple fridges, Cordelia beds, and the Knight of the Octagon Table. Level 1 mischief? Lamps and dirty dishes. (Great vid!)
I'm surprised that she never gained the Freegan trait via Self Discovery after all this. After all, she spent this entire video avoiding making purchases that weren't purely for fun.
I loved this. I would have had her buy an empty retail lot and given it the landfill lot trait. That means sims bring stuff to dump there. Ovens, fridges and stereos are the most common things. You can repair them and sell them at your little shop, or repair and use. There's also fabricating and woodworking. You can make a bath and a toilet at higher levels. Joining the catering career gets you some kitchen counters.
@@christinamoxon the table and the fabricator may be stealable, the items are usually available for all to use when you have a maker space in Eco world. I think the woodwork table is also available at the arts centre in the city living world
@@christinamoxon Can confirm, both are steal-able. I'm doing a play-through now and the juice fizzer, woodworking table, and fabricator are all on a single lot that you can swipe em from. Plus, if you steal the outdoor trash bin thing from, say, the Landgrabs, you can kick it over, scavenge for parts, put the trash in your inventory, then go to one of the public lots in each of the zones with a dumpster and recycler. You can use the trash in the recycler for bits and pieces, or throw em into the dumpster to get at least one dive for deals run (I've usually gotten 5 dives per trash, though)
If you didn't know: You can buy mini fridges in Uni town, and a similar vending machine with different stuff is available in the first vacation world. And of course there's the market stalls in Jungle Adventure =)
Respectfully, Peter, I dig it. Most people get furniture by piecemeal and not by buying whole sets of furniture at one time (not necessarily by way of kleptomania and robbery, but...); in that sense I think it gives it a sort of realistic feeling. Except the counters, but that's what the sim ray is for.
Very entertaining, thank you! In the beginning I thought, she would use the woodworking table in the center (from growing together) to make herself furniture. Or the machine from eco living. You gave her a post box from the beginning...she could have knitted one! Than I saw your interesting ideas of playing this challenge and I like it very much.
I think the game will automatically generate a mailbox no matter what. So if he deleted it, once he goes to live mode it would be there again. And even worse it might pop up in the middle of the house somewhere. 😂
A story ry driven highlights of how multiple packs can be used to tell a wild roller coastee story only the sims can tell that is informative and has closure. And your home has peak tween decor vibes as it looks exactly like how my kids decorate in their saves without any restrictions.
Absolutely loved this style of video!! I'd be super excited to see more in the future. I fully thought Miralda was going to die from overloading and that was going to be the end lol. Proud of her for holding out
If you're willing to go the spellcaster route, then your needs shouldn't be a problem (potion of plenty), and you should be able to get a familliar as well, which should prevent the death by overload. Being a spellcaster should allow you to easily meet the challenge posed by this scenario without doing anything else.
I love Miraldas style story. Her house looked fine to me. She isn't wasteful, just dumping stuff, she reused, recycled and repurposed items and had a cozy house. This sort of content is awesome.
I LOVED this video. The storytelling, the character, the plot, everything was outstanding. I also liked the decorated house. It's giving "thrift store chic". No, everything wasn't all matchy-matchy, but that is the appeal. It fits the story and very much suits the character. I'm inspired to try this myself. Thanks!
I love the Burgliate spell! I took my Super Sim to that infamous house in Del Sol Valley that only has one toilet and now it has ZERO toilets! LOL House looks great. I've done this challenge before and it's kinda fun.
I really liked this video. This was fun. I did something kind of similar to this, but using only the sim ray. Once I got it and saw how to use it, I decided I wouldn't buy that house anything else and I'd just make it all with the Sim ray. I mostly transformed the Mysim statues, but I'd also have the kids make snowmen in the wintertime to transform. That's a great way to get random free stuff. The game doesn't know what the price category of a snowman is, or what category of object it is, so you can get everything from Voidcritter cards to pricey refrigerators. And start FIRES!
This was a really fun way to play and I enjoyed watching the video a lot. Once your Sims mischief skill gets higher they can steal better objects like TVs and stuff. I thought you were going to go to a community lot and build items with the woodworking table or the 3-D printer. I had no idea she was going to become a spellcaster who got a job in the scientist career. 😆 The plants being planted out of order would hurt me too much. I think you should be allowed to move objects around if you do the challenge again. 😊
Fun challenge! Will test it! I liked your story driven mode an would like more, but I also like simple guides and tips that you usually do, so would prefer a combination instead of switching everything.
This is my fave way of watching a let’s play ever with my adhd it was quick yet entertaining and informative, gave me so much inspo and motivation to open up mu game again x
Miralda was my mother's name, and your Sim is the only other person I've heard called that before. I always assumed it was a mistake in spelling from Miranda Carmen. A famous 1940's dancer, which tells you how old my mother was. 😂
I liked this style of video. I wouldn’t want it to replace your straightforward guides. But it was fun and still quite informative. It felt like a play through of some of the suggestions you give like the “10 ways to play as a spellcaster” videos.
I love it! You got so lucky with the dumpster diving! I never get good things if I don't take the trait that gives better luck at it. I'm definitely going to do this in my game! Love the ideas you always have!
Wow that was a lot of fun to watch, Petey!! Thank you for sharing this crazy journey, this was a super fun idea!! I love your tutorials and discoveries of game play items that are rarely used, learned so much from you already. And this challenge was such a good addition, absolutely loved watching and hope you'll do another one some time!! :)
Love the new content, really shows off your creativity and was refreshing to watch since is so different from most SimTuber content out there. Keep it up!
I LOVED this! ❤ I felt like you were telling me a fun fairytale 😊 From the name of your sim to the methods you used to furnish the house! I'm definitely for more content like this.
love it, iv done something similar but didnt think of klepto i just bought stuff for all the kiosks (uni, outdoor retreat, island living, jungle adventure) also gifts bought from the phone and items i fabricated or woodcrafted
Love this. Would love to see Miralda to marry Morgan and have a baby she has to teach how to not use buy mode. I'm hoping when the new pack comes out, we'll get some fun experiences with spying and breaking in to places to go along with the other criminal-type skills in the game.
She can marry Morgyn, but unless they elect to have a Science Baby, or you play around with stuff in CAS, she can't have a baby with them. (Morgyn uses they/them pronouns.) Morgyn has custom gender settings: they have a masculine frame (so the game basically recognizes them as male), but they can neither get someone pregnant nor get pregnant, they prefer to wear "feminine" clothing, and they can't pee standing up.
I thoroughly enjoyed this video as I do all of your videos. I learn something new every time. Many of my sims are still living their best lives now because of your Sulani video😊
Loved grumpy Miralda! 😂 and seeing how packs can work together. I do love decorating my sims houses with their finds but didn't realise there were so many possibilities. This was a really fun and informative watch and would definitely love to see more ❤
Ok I haven’t been watching TS4 content unless it’s a video that disses or humiliates the 4th installment. But dude this video was awesome. Like it was fast paced, interesting, entertaining and tbh I didn’t want it to end! Bravo 👉🏻👈🏻❤️
I loved this!! I often play like this and give myself challenging, self imposed rules to make things more interesting. Great video ! Have an amazing day/weekend/and week!
🥰I love this story mode play tutorial informational. This is definitely something I would love to see again. Thank you so much. This was a great idea. 🤩
Loved this video. I loved your storytelling and it was a cool theme. I love that you made her high maintenance, for storytelling it was a prefect angle! I really enjoy putting these kinds of restrictions in game. I recently played a couple in Evergreen Harbor and put them in an empty container house with the restriction they could only furnish it through dumpster diving and fabrication . They had careers (freelance crafting) and an infant too, so it took a minute, but it ended up very functional! I'm going to try being more ambitious next time, with some of these ideas.
This such an awesome video!! Funny and the same time you showing things “how to” . She just makes me laugh with her grumpy but gorgeous look and must be an expert in sniffing out dumpsters 😂😂😂. Thank you I loved watching 🌞😘
I loved this so much! Makes me want to give it a try! Which is funny because I’m usually playing with big families, gardens, and animals and never let in “negativity” - turns out “negativity” can be fun 😂
First time viewer on your channel and liked the story telling but would have enjoyed seeing a let’s play of this. Hope you do this again but full let’s play so we can see the chaos it took to get to the end result

Don't think all traits can be self discovered
I have had a sim get the Freegan trait. He did a lot of woodworking.
Maybe it clashes with high maintenance trade?
@annekatrin6354 That makes sense
I don't think you can discover it...

What a great idea
How would you get the fabricating or woodworking items without build buy?

It feels like a New Sim Challenge, a Let's Play and a Walk through. Absolutely loved the content 😊😊😊
That does sound like an interesting challenge.
Thank you so much! I am so happy you enjoyed it :D

I thought the same! Crafting can pretty much furnish a house
I don‘t think that you can find a knitting basket outside Buildmode.
Woodworking is base game
A story ry driven highlights of how multiple packs can be used to tell a wild roller coastee story only the sims can tell that is informative and has closure.

Thank you so much for this super kind comment Elaina :D I really enjoyed it and I think I'll make some more story based videos in the future :D.
Absolutely loved this style of video!! I'd be super excited to see more in the future.
I fully thought Miralda was going to die from overloading and that was going to be the end lol. Proud of her for holding out
Lol... she literally passed out too many times... and right after Vlad possessed her... maybe that was an after-effect..

Super creative! I love seeing scenarios where sims earn everything through gameplay so this is right up my alley.
Me too!
Loved this style!
I really like the house in the end. It's a complete mess, yes. But you worked so hard for that stuff and it has it's own charm
I love videos like this! It is like a new way of doing your guides, and IT'S GREAT! ^__^
I use knitting pack and painting to add decor
LOVE!!
I agrée it is a creative alternative to guides. I like both methods
Chuckled all the way through this. It was brilliant. I vote yes to some more lol.
Hooray! :D

I kinda love some of the furniture, this house gives me the same vibes as my personal builds, just all the things that make me happy.
What a fun and unique gameplay concept!! Loved it!
I really liked this video. This was fun.

Thank you so much Jannie :D. Ahaha omg those plants, so low key stressful lol. I agree, buy mode to move them around should have been ok haha.
I always enjoy videos about lesser seen game features.
This was such an amusing video. You managed to avoid build/buy mode and gave me a desire to try out some witchcraft in the Sims. Subscribed!
Loved the story! Please do more!
This is my favorite kind of challenge! Amazing video!
Please do more of these! You playing/building, storytelling and such. You're so good at filming the best shots.
roflmfao this is brilliant!! I can't imagine how long it took to do all this. I love that mansion. Thanks to you I learn a lot about careers.

I really enjoyed watching this. A very interesting way to play the game that I never thought about.
Yeah, my sims always end up being spellcasters if they didn't start as one... 😂

2 thumbs up. this has to be one of the most creative rags to function videos I have ever seen. congratulations. this is big brained.
This is so fun! Thank you Petey!

Good job, im always amazed at the ingenuity some simmers have when it peetains rags to riches challenges.
Love this! My game has been feeling flat lately and you have reinspired me! Thank you!!!
I loved this. Great story play challenge. I would love to have that house too.
Would love a more proper walk through of the finished house so I can really take it in an appreciate it but loved the story led video, thank you
Laughed till I had tears in my eyes. I didn’t expect that. Thank you!!!
This is SO awesome! Love how it feels like a real story, and the house turned out amazing! Literally better than most simmer's builds!
Love the new content, really shows off your creativity and was refreshing to watch since is so different from most SimTuber content out there. Keep it up!
Thank you so much for the super kind comment :D
new sub. i enjoyed this kind of content.
I LOVED this! ❤ I felt like you were telling me a fun fairytale 😊 From the name of your sim to the methods you used to furnish the house! I'm definitely for more content like this.
YAY! Pete makes such amazing builds, he's so talented at building, all the videos feature stunning homes, and now we finally get a 'building' video!
you have the best style of videos. great challenge idea
love it, iv done something similar but didnt think of klepto i just bought stuff for all the kiosks (uni, outdoor retreat, island living, jungle adventure) also gifts bought from the phone and items i fabricated or woodcrafted
Wow!!! Such a smart video! So many ideas for gameplay! Thanks Peter!!!

This is my second time watching this video today, I love the format.
Awe shucks thank you so much Lissette :D
I absolutely loved this, so yes more please!
I love this challenge! Great video too. I'd definitely watch more like it.

This was actually really fun to watch 😅 Good job🎉
Love it! like to see more of this!
omg yes! I want to see more of Merelda and her shenanigans, especially more rags-to-riches-type story stuff. this was brilliant! 😄
Absolutely loved this! I wouldn't mind seeing more of these style videos : )
Is this a play video from Petey!!!! Omg yes yes 🎉 I will pay any amount for more of this!
I loved this!! I often play like this and give myself challenging, self imposed rules to make things more interesting. Great video ! Have an amazing day/weekend/and week!
Thank you so much k mraz :D Haha a fun challenge is so great! Have an amazing day/week as well :D

Love this Idea of content gave me some great ideas for my own rags to riches...I didn't think about
So fun and very entertaining! Thanks for all the giggles you gave me.😂
Great video and a great new challenge idea. I’m definitely going to try it.
I love this video! So creative and fun.
I loved this video, and would definitely enjoy seeing more 🙂
I love this episode! I love your stuff! X
This such an awesome video!! Funny and the same time you showing things “how to” . She just makes me laugh with her grumpy but gorgeous look and must be an expert in sniffing out dumpsters 😂😂😂.
Thank you I loved watching 🌞😘
What fun!! I loved the story and it gave me great inspiration toward my me and my daughter are about to start on a Legacy character. Thanks Peter.
Love! I liked the use of the spellcaster and scientist career, a lot of people just dumpster dive.
Busting a seam laughing XD This was so creative and amazing!
I enjoyed this so much! I play with limited packs but I'm gonna start a new save just to do this challenge!
Great video! Loved it!
Oh wow !! I love a challenge 🙂🌺
What a brilliant idea 💡
We Love You Petey !!!
Love this. I did a complete maker of house items which was fun but this seems fun too.
0:05 almost like an EA build

Thank you for the laughs! Love this idea! ❤
7:03 Fun fact, Morgan is the first non-binarie sim. Idk if they updated their pronous yet, but it´s still cool haha
Actually they are not! It's Darling Walsh who is the first nonbinary sim ^^
I love this house, is it up on the gallery by any chance?
Yup yup! My gallery ID is PeteyPlaysIt :)
Oooh, Love this idea. I am going to try this with a Sim.
Nice video! I tried furnishing a house only using the Transform Ray, but I never got a bed, fridge, or outdoor trashcan.
Another way you could have gotten things was to take a vacation and buy things from the stands in Granite Falls and Selvadorada.
This was great! and it kinda looks like my house irl hahaha , miss matched furniture for the win!❤
This is awesome. So creativ, what a challenge. I'm almost tempted 😅.
This was so cool, I love the idea behind it. I always wanted to decorate a house this way. Love it❤❤
Great video, I want to try this!!!
this is a really awesome challenge idea, and i loved the video style
