I only see one flaw about this calendar. That the numbers on it don't match with the betabet numbers. Otherwise this calendar is completly flawless! Great job Oats!

No problem: each last Monday of the month can be a rest day, so we get an extra-long weekend every month.

With this calendar, every 13th day of each month falls on a Friday, so I agree with it by default

Because of this calendar I have realized the easiest way to tell if Friday the 13th of this month it's just to see if the calendar looks really cool and neat with a one on the first Square
This calendar is amazing, except for 2 small flaws:
1. The extra 6 hours will offset time, making 6am every day the year after its synchronized appear to be noon. The next year would have noon be midnight, and then 6pm. That would be harder to keep track of then leap year.
2. Weeks are still 7 days. Nobody likes 7, and if you make each week 5 days instead, then there would be exactly 6 weeks each month, meaning that when the month ends, it doesn't go: Monday-Sunday-Monday.
BONUS SUGGSTION:
18 kind of looks like a face but a little off, and clowns look like faces but a little off, then the July 18th should be clown day.

The whole "extra long bonus weekend" at the end of the year was a real thing in the ancient Germanic calendar until the Romans came and f**d everything up with inconsistency. It was referred to as the "time between the years".
And I as German highly appreciate seeing this concept being reestablished because I really like objective logic and bonus weekends... unlike some ancient Roman guys.

Y'know... you could always just do 28 days per month. Every month would be exactly 4 weeks, so having every month start on a Sunday would be inherent. There would be 13 months and only 1 day left over at the end.
Also the 360-day calendar with 5 "mystery" days left over has been done before. The Mayans did it, and it sort of worked for them because they had a base-360 counting system.
SAME CHAIN OF THOUGH.... 13 months... all 28 days... all 4 exact weeks... all months start monday (weekend is a weekEND)(and changes nothing if you work the 1st or 2nd, same rest)... Last Sunday of the year is 48hours or 72 leap year... 12 was divisable by 4 for the seasons? They never start on the first anyway.... Hedgehog issue? Exterminate them all slowly, they now replace turkeys as the official gathering protein... what iff you were born a 31st? It's honestly surprising how doing 13 months of 28 days solves a lot of problems and creates a very regular calendar. The only problem is the extra day you have to deal with (28*13 = 364), but when you're ready to do bonus weekend, what's one bonus day gonna hurt?
Also, I love how with Calendar 2, every year the morning/night cycle get pushed 6 hours.
Now if we add in Clock 2 we fix everything since it is 20 hour days with 20 mins per hour. So that 365 day is just a normal extra day that doesn't exist on the calendar line. So we get Sunday through Saturday 4 weeks a month with an extra special random day between "new years eve" and new years that isn't labeled as a "week day", but it doesn't need to be an extra 6 hours under the Clock 2 timeline. Then we start it all over on Sunday at 1.
Your idea sounds exactly like the "Celtic Tree Calendar" invented by Robert Graves. Just like yours, his calendar had 13 months per year. Each month had 28 days.
I'm pretty sure there used to be 13 months until some emporer or two decided they wanted to mess things up. Idk school history was a long time ago, might want to actually look that up 😂
the ancient egyptian calendar which our calendar is based on had 30 days every month and 5-6 extra ones at the end of the year
@@gracelewis6071 Pretty sure you're thinking of when July and August were added to make it 12 months instead of 10, named after the emperors Julius and Augustus. That's why September is the 9th month when it's actually Latin for 7 (sept like the name Septimus), October is 10th instead of 8th (oct like octopus), November (nov like the number 9 nueve in Spanish), December (dec like decade).
There's one massive problem I noticed with Calendar 2:
There are two days of the week that are experienced 12 more times than all other days. Firstly, there's Sunday, which isnt much of a problem, but then there's MONDAY. Monday, commonly said to be the worst day of the week, occurs on 12 more occasions than 5 other days of the week. This will either have to be changed or the last Monday of a moth will be used for something else...
Sounds like a perfect opportunity for _BONUS WEEKEND!!!!!_
In that case, just make the beginning of the week Saturday instead of Sunday, that would solve the issue.

fun fact: in Old Egypt, they had 13 months a year. 12 months with 30 days each and 1 month with 5 days. the last month was meant for having a free and fun time for yourself (this information comes from Facts (by Guff) on Instagram). So this new version is more like an updated version of the one from Old Egypt. I think every month should follow one another because now, every month besides the last one has a Friday the 13th...
*Edit: I got fully convinced by the Lunar months! Let's just go further with a Lunar calendar. It's much easier and it sounds much more amazing!
13 months in a year is the logical way to go because there are 13 lunar months in every year, 28 days in every lunar month. It's completely even, it works out every year. There's no leap year, there's no lost time, it doesn't need to be remade, it just needs to be utilized.
Instead we go with the solar year for some reason.

Ok, this calendar is infinitely superior, but with the +6 hours, noon would be when the sun sets some years, and sometimes the middle of the night. I think we should keep leap year and just have it every eight years ands get two extra days of bonus weekend, because then we deal with it less.

You should add 3 more days in a week, 2 being weekends and 1 being weekday which now makes Each week 10 days to make it exactly 3 weeks In a month, for example a week might be Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, extra week day, Saturday, sunday, extra weekend day, extra weekend day. This also has the bonus of each month linking up as one ends on Saturday and the next starts on Sunday

There is a 13 month calendar, where each month starts on a Sunday and ends on a Saturday, unlike calendar 2 you don't get the odd sat, sun, mon then sun pattern at the end of each month.
That’s amazing and I love it so much
My one problem with this is that each month ends on a Wednesday and starts on a Monday. So, what I suggest is you instead have there be four months (because of the four equinoxes) each being 91 days (13 weeks) long. Then, four the 1 1/4 day, make a whole new day of the week and have that be your ultimate day off. As far as holidays/birthdays have them be on the equivalent day on the new calendar. Additionally, for those born in February 29, your birthdays can now be on the ultimate day off (as that is essentially replace leap year).
Days of the week are human constructs, so there's no problem with cutting from Wednesday straight to the next Monday
Y'know, unless you schedule something weekly in the latter half of the week.
Make each month 28 days to line up with the moon and then make each week 5 or 6 days long so it stays in line with the year

The end of the year suffixes can be improved. 3 out of the 4 months end in -ember, so October should obviously become Octember. And in order to make the names match the numbers, September through December are now months 7-10 instead of 9-12. All other months also move up, so Jaugust is 6, July, is 5, etc, and then Marchuary is 1, February is 0, and January is -1. Also, it’s weird that Monday is followed by Sunday whenever you switch months. I think the obvious solution to this is to make every month 28 days, and add all the extra days to bonus weekend. I think that solves every problem and it is now completely perfect
Well, doing the 28 day thing would add 23 days to the 6 day bonus weekend, making it a bonus month with 29 days. I guess that’s fine though.
Well instead of having a 29 day bonus weekend you could just have 13 months and one “bonus day” it would have less of an impact on things like the operation of businesses. An extra one day would be easily implemented and not get in the way of so much

The last four months end in just "ber". They are named after septem (seven), octo (eight), novem (nine) and decem (ten), but as we all know, the logic was only correct in the early Roman calendar. Having the year start in January instead of March means that the names of the "ber" months are incorrect.
I just realized that ‘Let me check my calendar’ is the adult version of ‘Let me ask my mom.
You should make 29 a Sunday and 30 a Saturday, so 28, 29, 30 and 1 are all weekends and you get extra long days off by the end of each month

Fun fact: Every year that is evenly divisible by 4 is a leap year, but every year that is evenly divisible by 100 is NOT a leap year, but every year that is evenly divisible by 400 IS a leap year.

then we can also use same calender for every month and can save even more tree's

The extra 6 hours really deserve to be their own month. I think it would be nice if we honored a very specific group of people by naming the month Eugenemonth and then in the time leading up to the new year everyone finds someone named Eugene and lets them know they're appreciated.

In my country we start on the first Tuesday of September. Unless Tuesday is the 1st of September, in which case we start on Tuesday the 8th of September instead.

If you add 6 hrs to the 5th day of bonus weekend, it would ruin everything because every day would start at 6am instead of 12am. The next year starts at 12pm, etc. it’s basically the more complicated version of daylight savings

I like how he started out making logical changes, realized that's not actually what he was making this video to do, and then went off the rails
The way I would fix the calendar is as follows: Every month has 28 days (so that we always go in the order of weekdays) The 29th through 31st of each old month go towards a 13th month. That leaves us with the last month having 29 days! And I'm stealing your 6 extra hours on the last day idea too.
and the 29th is also a saturday so it keeps the week cycle with the 13th month being called jemberuary
