Damn , not bad for single stage paint. I have a feeling you will start stepping up to base coat / clear coat soon. Order a decent mid grade primer gun and base/clear gun. You can spray a car for pretty cheap now a days. One thing I recommend though, If you are going to be using the oem paint as a primer, I would really use a sealer in between your new base or single stage. Plus get your self a few cans of SEM black honda trim spray for the grills and bumper openings. It really makes a cleaner look.

Don't think I've ever seen a spray gun perform that poorly. A while lot of orange peel and dust in the paint, but still significantly better than before. Keep grinding my guy. I know you'll be at B is for build levels soon.
For free you have to get your own paint out of your key holes and scrub all of the over spray off of the new rims and tires . 🤦🏼 Hey still learning.... You guys can only get better and better over time. When your on a time crunch put the new tires and suspension on after the paint job. This way the paint will have time to cure. Keeping the tires and rims in the office and the coil overs in the box. Eliminating the masking of both and then the re removal of the tires setting them aside uncovered to get over spray on them. You get to take the old tires off, mask a couple lines and blast. You also get practice on not touching the paint on a car EVER for any reason other than to wash the car. That stops the habit of hazing the paint or running garden and air hoses across tops of fenders when cleaning engine bays grinding the dirt on the fenders and hose into the paint and such. Tune in your procedures and you will have better and better end products.

Definitely definitely want to start topping with some clear. That black looks so great but with some wet sanding and clear on top that’s where your true shine in a lot of these colors come from. Most certainly not a painter by any means. But I see the upgrades in the equipment. Time to take it a step further

Owner can go to a shop to do a fine sanding and polish.... worth it... the build was free
