Most Canadian travellers are legitimate travellers coming through the Wildhorse border crossing into Montana!

🤣🤣 This is another fine example of fine fear mongering journalism.

Yep. This is a great example also of mission creep by the border patrol. I’ve watched videos today of border towns where the USA-Canada border literally goes through the town and people have to cross multiple times a day. And a lot of them have talked about how rude the border patrol agents are, a lot of said Canadian border patrol is very nice but the US border patrol are jerks. I’m guessing they need to feel like they’re doing some thing worth wild so they don’t like when people don’t technically check in when they’re crossing the street Dr friend are going to a grocery store. So they have to enforce the rules to feel like their job is not worthless.
And ask for all the claims about terrorists and drug distribution, that happens within the United States also. You can make drugs in one state and go to the next day. Do I need fences and border patrol between each state, each county, and even each city? They’re taking something that has truth but expanding it to a point that silly. Because these drug mules or terrorists have to get in to Canada in order to cross over the border.
It seems like all the money we’re spinning on technology could be better use somewhere else. I agree the southern border is a problem, but I don’t see the northern border as a problem compared to the money it will cost.

Hard to believe there was a time you could cross the Coutts/Sweetgrass border crossing just using your driver's license as ID.

I prefer the border crossing going down to Havre, Montana compared to Coutts/Sweetgrass!

The problem of drugs smuggling / undocumented go both ways and guns going north. Calgary has more residents than Montana.

Stop creating such fear mongering attitudes against Canadians who want to freely travel abroad and enjoy a vacation like everybody else!

I will never use that Border road 🛣️ that is on a gravel road going out from Coutts/Sweetgrass I enjoy Wildhorse Border crossing way better than that!

No need bro, the citizens are mostly peaceful the government is responsible. I've met too many Americans that I consider friends no threat the 5 eyes my friend. You have more coming in the southern boarder, Canada dumps
Tons of cash in the US because the Canada government taxes tax.

Just install border fences or something on the Canada/US border, in some areas.

The problem is out American people and the Canadian people are counting on to much electronics what are they going to do when some terius computor expert kills all our electronics these monitors want work that why we still need 30 foot fences all in every united states border

A fence. Really? One Terrace can come from one state to another state, so maybe we should have border fences along every state border. Of course you can have a terrorist go from one city to another city, so I guess also build fences in between every single city. And every block. Have checkpoints everywhere. Canada is not Nomansland, they have protections just like other countries. There’s only so much you can do to stop people.
