@@pineyprepper2617 I did end up eating these. They were not too bad. I used the cheapest hot dogs I could find...Bar S....lol. Long time no chat. I hope you are still alive.
@@pineyprepper2617 It is GREAT to hear from you! I know YT turns into a massive PITA. Plus, the perks have dwindled to nothing. So, I understand that you took some personal time. I am just happy that you are healthy enough to send an update. Many people look forward to your return!
@@captcraig777 I appreciate that. I actually became monetized on TH-cam after all those years. I made $100 then stopped making videos. Lol. Had problems walking. Mom got real sick and was taking care of her. Then other issues here at home. Didn't have time to post videos. For a while had no Internet. So that sucked too. I plan on getting back on soon. Got tired of all the big preppers and the doomsday. Glad your doing good. And really glad you thought of me. Means a lot.
I know there gonna be good.. My daughter pickles chicken Vienna's with Frank's hot sauce.. I really like Frank's hot sauce it's the BEST I think.. Thanks for sharing Bill..
What a coincidence. For a few years now I'd been wondering what happened to those "Bar Sausages". "Penrose Beer Sausage" was my favorite. I made some that taste almost identical to what I remember. I made them basically the same as you did, except that I used "Louisiana" hot sauce, a tsp. of cayenne powder and the kicker is pickled beet juice(1/4 to 1/2 cup) and "Nathan's Beef Franks". I tried "BallPark" and a few others but the "Nathans" seem to have the same texture and flavor as those I remember. Great video BTW.
I dehydrate the hotdog after I cut them half way down the middle then cut in thirds. They will be hotter in taste and will have a longer shelf life.
I just made 2 jars of these today. Looking forward to breaking into them next weekend. Thanks for posting this!
Hope yours turn out better. Mine were not as good as I thought they would be. Maybe I should have used better hot dogs? Lol

Mine tasted NOTHING like I thought they would. Lol. Your recipe actually sounds better. I might try that next time. Thank you
I'm thinking straight-up tabasco would do it.
Tried your recipe...YUM! When I first opened them they were good, 10 days. The next day they were absolutely delish!
