Hi, Olivia, Your coffee filter roses are great! I have made roses, but with a different method, and although realistic, they were not as large as the one you made. I love them! When you put them on your rose bush I could not tell that they were made from coffee filters. I have made hydrangeas and would love to see how you make them. I have tried to make leaves ( they were definitely green..and that is all I will say about them) and have cheated and used leftovers from dollar tree florals used in other projects. I am going to try using the apple barrel paint instead of food coloring. I just love this craft and am so happy to see your example of it. I find your videos encouraging and inspirational. Beautiful! I love using coffee filters for making roses. I haven’t tried this technique before but can’t wait to try! I have also used food coloring to dye my filters. I dye some green and cut leaves from them. I’ve made roses by folding the filter in half, half again & again, cutting the petal shape. I then unfold to just the first half fold. I use a tweezers pinching the top, holding the pointed end with my other hand and twisting/ rolling towards the center & then glueing . I hope that makes sense. I love that you put them outside-looks great. Thank you for a new technique to add to my skillset. Have a wonderful weekend Olivia dear. 💕😊

Your flowers are lovely. This is my favorite craft (especially when I am in a bad mood). On rainy or snowy days I go to visit my younger Grands we paint and dye the coffee filters al day. The kids have so much fun and I have endless colored filters to create flowers with the older children who can use a hot glue gun. You can also put them in the microwave to dry.
