You can use 3/8" aluminum rod and thread one end with a 3/8"-24 die and then use standard 3/8-24 antenna connectors. Also, 1/4 wavelength on 6m is close to 3/4 wavelength on 2m so it's possible to get two bands for one depending what frequencies you want to work

I just brought a Hy-Gain multi-band Yagi antenna. My big complaint is the instructions look like a 5th-generation photocopy. I decided to download my own version. They have obviously scanned the instructions from a poor-quality original. The file you download is such poor quality I can't even read the figures is that length 1699 mm or 1888 mm. you can't make it out. Really for such an expensive antenna the instructions are something I would expect from China.
The Comet CX333 tri-bander does 2m, 220, & 440 for about $175. I have a Tram on the roof that does the same thing for less than half that.

Thanks Dave for the video and product information. Built something similar years ago and worked quite well. 73, AC3HT

I used 3/8s, 24 threaded rods that worked just fine and easy if needs adjustment.
Hi Dave , I have metal roofing . I have a 7 ft tower on the peak. Would it be ok to put a dipole antenna on top of it ? Thankyou for your time

Drawing diagrams isn’t your forte Dave but I enjoy the vids!🤣
Dave's drawings are awesome! 73.
Lesser perfect people like myself understand Dave’s drawings. We’re not all super intelligent rocket scientists 😂
DB is not gain, it is BS: dBi, dBd, those are terms of fact. Dave, that is why I can not watch your shows. Come on man.
