Kevin's laugh is infectious. I love this challenge
Kevin is an incredible person, a true polymath (i.e. a genius in more than one category). He's also one of the kindest people in the world, which is the best reason to like him. But I've always thought his laugh is the most delightful thing about him.

It is amazing how many of these they have covered as actual covers. They always have so much fun together. Their Christmas songs are a whole other rabbit hole to go down!! You may want to start them early November. After hearing their versions, you will no longer want to hear the traditional radio versions!!

You can do Christmas music anytime. We Pentaholics love their Christmas music all year long. If you wait until Christmas, even doing one a day, you will barely scratch the surface. So start early. Loved this reaction!!! 💕💕

I never saw another challenge like this. Probably because PTX killed it. Anyone else would have been a disappointment.
The amount of cumulative musical knowledge in this group is pretty insane.

This is one of my favourite PTX videos. Love how much they were having fun, especially Mitch with the voices. If they had taken it seriously they would easily have gotten the 100 probably 120

I'd forgotten all about this one! I bet nobody else has even come close to their number! They could've gotten all 100 if they hadn't been having so much fun! They had already covered alot of those songs and have done many more since (easy to break it down by Avi/Matt eras) - try Cheerleader and Havana.
I think you should start xmas *soon* ! If you started October 1st and reacted to *TWO* a day you might come close to getting thru them all by New Years Eve! And you will never listen to any other Christmas music again! They are just that good! Loving your reactions and appreciation for this amazing group! More, please!!!

If you haven't seen White Winter Hymnal yet - that's the one where everyone started clapping on their chest (#90) - well, there's a reason they all started clapping on their chest. While it sounds like a Christmas song, it's really just a winter song, so you could probably watch it any time you wanted to.

I love this one and have seen it many times. They could have easily made the 100, but they always had to make a great arrangement of it before they moved on (many times they kept going a few seconds after the “ding” 😂). Get Joyful Joyful (live from the Evergreen experience) out of the way now as it isn’t really a Christmas song. It was one of their 95 songs on this. If my grocery store can have its Halloween candy aisle already, then you can surely start with some Christmas PTX now. Otherwise you will never have time to hear all their classic Christmas song upgrades. 😁

Real pentaholics listen to Christmas music year round; I think that about half of their music is in the Christmas genre.
I love this video. For sure has been a comfort video for me when I needed something on in the background. They have way too much fun and I love it.
The challenge isn't a fair competition. A solo singer doesn't have as good a chance as a group like Pentatonix, because only one person out of five has to actually recognize the song and start singing it, where a solo singer has only herself to rely on. Except, of course, it isn't really a "competition" at all; this is just for fun and it appears that the songs were deliberately chosen to give each participant as good a chance as possible.
I'm glad you happened on this video; I've always thought it's a fun one.

Never to early to do Christmas song.. especially if it's PTX! One of my very favorites is one of their originals at Christmas in 2020 after the stressful year we all had in isolation. Scott and his husband, Mark wrote it. ..Pentatonix - Thank You (Official Video) Scott plays piano and Kevin plays cello.
If they had actually stopped at the bell, they would have easy made 100. Also you can play their Christmas music 365 and no Pentaholic would care.

I love this video! Maybe it shouldn’t still be fun to watch after seeing it several times, but it is!
Doing a Christmas song a day isn’t even going to get you close to hearing all their Christmas songs. They have 7 full length Christmas albums plus their best of that has 4 tracks that aren’t on other albums and they’re releasing a new one this year too. They used to be bothered that so many people only knew them for their Christmas music but when they realized it was just going to be that way they embraced being known as a Christmas group and now have been releasing a new album each year.
