I just re-housed my R5 8600G from a mini-pc case into this so I could have dedicated graphics. Under gaming load, with the dgpu, I can't hear this thing running at all! Using the stock cooler for the 8600G and my old 1660Ti (I don't do big titles outside of FFXIV), I set a FPS cap of 58 (60hz screen) and only saw it drop as low as 56fps a couple of times. Things are quiet, cool, and perfectly capable. If you're thinking about getting this case to minimize the space you need on your desk, all I can say is: go for it! Keep an eye out for sales, but it's come way down in price from what it used to be. And if you have vertical space, but not horizontal you can always go for the Louqe Raw S1. I have both, but the Ghost is more to my needs.
Hey fellow Ghost s1 user here, try reversing your bottom fan to exhaust, from what I've seen and in my personal experience, the best airflow setup is for intake through the sides and exhaust through the top and bottom, great video
bro has videos with 5k views and one of a sudden videos with 1,5 million views. no matter the view count, your vids are always amazing. keep up the great work
clean build, like it - I have the same case and I think you can have surprisingly better temps if the bottom case fan is not intake, also good for the temps if you replace the factory rubber legs to hifi audio stand legs.
If you wanna optimize this case even more, I would recommend getting the metacustom spine as well as zenGhosts1’s fan brackets. Fyi the spine cuts the ssd mount behind de psu so if you’re running the fan on the bottom, you loose all ssd mounts and are forced to use the m.2 at the back of the motherboard. But in return you get a massive decrease in temps without having to get a top or bottom hat which in my opinion ruin the aesthetic of the case.
Just found your channel recently, and I gotta say I'm loving your videos. Gotta also say that this setup of yours is a dream of mine, having both a Mac for work and a SFF gaming PC, my current PC is good but it's a bulky ATX full tower, but I'm already planning my next build to be an mini ITX one.
Awesome build bro, but the 3070 FE is terrible for this case, the blow through design is completely cramped by the psu spine. Would recommend a regular style gpu if possible.
Hi Josh, pcie m.2 is much faster and makes the biggest impact on app launch speed, bootup, and so many every day things. I have a PC build with raid 0 pcie 4.0 drives, giving me 13,000 MB/s read speeds. Not waiting for anything is great!
thanks! did you remove the i/o shield and install it or did you just install the mother board with it on? cant figure how to install i/o shield. Thanks!
hey there! Maybe stupid, but could you tell me the setting for the front cable connectors on the ghost s1? I have 4 single cables and no marks or names written in them. Thx in advance!
Hey Josh. I'm building a super similar SFFPC with the only real difference being the GPU (I got my hands on a 3060ti). I don't know what custom cables to buy exactly on the pslatecustoms page. Help me out?
The cables I ordered can be found here: www.pslatecustoms.com/collections/louqe-ghost-s1-cables Here's what I got: - 24-pin Cable (Connect this from MOBO to PSU. This one will tidy up your cable management the most.) - 8 (4+4) Pin CPU Cable (From MOBO to PSU) - SATA Cable (from MOBO to external SSD, if you have one) - nVidia 12-pin PCIE Cable (from GPU to PSU) I would email them if you have questions regarding which cables to order, as they would be the experts. Definitely make sure you get the correct cables so you don't have to deal with a headache if you get them wrong!
I have a question, I just bought this case, for the custom cables. the only ones mainly imortant are the 24pin Motherboard + 8pin on the motherboard in the corner.... and the GPU cable right?
Thanks a lot, the website you gave was kinda confusing and made me wonder if i actually needed a lot of cables! I'm thinking of getting a 3d printed mounts inside the case to install 4 small noctua fans and a slim ontop, In total i think I'll be able to fit around 8 fans? in the case. Just gotta find out where to put the PSU fan hub adapter cause you can only put like 2 fans on a pin without it blowing up. So idk if i can actually install it in this tiny case :(
Hey Joshua! Love your content and always happy to see you upload something new!
Out of curiosity, how much did it cost you to build this PC?
Hey Santiago! Thanks for the support! All in, the PC costed me about $2000 to build. Here's a photo of the breakdown: imgur.com/a/0tCf6ht
@@JoshuaChang Thats actually really good, cause its my bday in a few days, and Ive got about 2k in my budget

Cool build. Nice to see you didn’t go way out on the specs for this build

hey man almost happy Christmas
Congrats! Looks like you made a PC that looks as beautiful as an Apple product that you can game with!
U ARE SO UNDERRATED GREAT VIDEO!
You should totally mention the price range in the future for builds.
This would probably be the exact setup I would put together, great work!
tnx.

got examples?
@@ZuluKing91 literally any gpu that doesn't utilize the blow through design.
new video lets gooo
Hey Josh hows your day pretty nice video and I love to see your great camera quality I have a question how much did it cost you
Hey Joshua Chang you have a bright future as Dave2D’s brother.Jk but congrats for your growth all the best
5:52 what is your resolution?
Awesome review! I gave you a like and subscribe.
nice content brother. keep doing your thing. subbed and looking forward to seeing what you get up to next 🔥🔥

cool build
I too built my first pc in 2017
The riser cable is so clean! Where can you one or is that custom made?
Great video
built my first one in the Ghost S1, tempted to buy the MK3 but not sure if it's worth it ? any thoughts
Why did you have to bend the cooler? Isnt that cooler meant for the Ghost S1?
will this custom cable fit to Fractal terra?
thanks! did you remove the i/o shield and install it or did you just install the mother board with it on? cant figure how to install i/o shield. Thanks!

How you turn fan on cpu cooler? To blow out or in.???
👍🏼
any chance 4090 FE to fit inside ?
Everything is now Mini and Micro .. anything above 6.2L is a waste of material space and money since we're looking at 4nm chips
i jammed a rtx 3080 ti in this.... lowkey not worth it because of temp bottleneck

hey guys, the nvidia card is sold out :) can someone give a good suggestion on what else to buy? :)
I am doing a similar build as you, hoping I can ask some questions
Why is the top black D:
I hope that RTX 3070 gets enough air
SATA drives are still internal drives bro....
