You’re using the stand function incorrectly, as it should be rotated where the “legs” are facing the table. It is quite stable that way, and I have never had it fall once I figured that out. I really like this stand, although I have not had any luck with wireless charging, but I think that has to do with my case, which is thicker than the norm. I have a lightning portable charger, so it’s not a deal breaker.
Thank You lol, I've never used one of these but the hole time I was like just rotate it? Probably did that intentionally to get retention on the video now that I'm thinking about it. Real question for you, do you use the magnetic feature to mount it at all. ( like with the fridge ), I'm wondering how strong it holds up in real life.
I wholeheartedly agree. My phone has only ever lost battery while wireless "charging" using the snap 3 on an official Apple case. My wireless charging base is a pretty integral part of my night stand, so I'm likely not going to keep mine because of this reason alone.
The kick stand works great if it's rotated as @traceymoore6797 described.
As for the magnetism, it's really strong. I was actually surprised how hard I had to pull to get it off when I first put it on my fridge.

The stand needs to be rotated so the legs are on the bottom when using the stand. Then it won’t fall. I also am concerned about longevity…. But so far it’s working good.

Great review, I wanna give an update on the 3.0. I've had mine for 8 months and it has broken. The plastic hinges are actually still going strong, but if you have a 3.0, you'll see that the plastic hinges are attached to 2 panels that in turn are glued to the center plate that pops out. The panels are coming unglued from the center plate.
In addition, I've found that I tend to hook a finger under the edge of the center plate to pop it out. Over time, because that plate is so thin, a hairline crack has started to develop on the center.
Overall, I love that the 3.0 is so much thinner and doesn't need a separate metal ring to attach. But the plastic feels and is too cheap and flimsy. Advantages of the 1.0 is more durable materials and ease of use. I can just slide my fingers into the rubber loop (one-handed) instead of potentially using 1 hand to hold my phone while another hand pops open the back plate. And then I actually have to use my fingers to grip it instead of them being held in place with the rubber band. Overall, if they could combine the one-handed usability and materials from 1.0 with the lightness of the 3.0, we'd have a refined product on our hands
Update on my update: reached out to Ohsnap with photos of the damage and they are sending me a replacement no questions asked. Great service from them

What phone case are you using? I couldn't get wireless charging to work with my Snap 3 Pro so I'm trying to find a different case that will work since you said you didn't have any issues with that. Great video!

In regards to your kickstand issues, you are doing it wrong. It should be flipped sideways when watching in landscape. The way you tried to use it is for using the phone in portrait mode, though I find that useless.
I just got mine. The magnets are weak AF. constantly slips off gym equipment. I use a magnetic car mount, I haven't used their car mount yet but I can't see it holding my s22 ultra if I drive over a manhole cover or something, let alone a small pothole. The kickstand has a higher angle than the 2.0 and holds pretty well (assuming you're using it correctly) which is something I was excited about, cause the 2.0 stand angle was trash, but I use the magnet mostly so I'll probably have to return mine. Hopefully 4.0 isn't trash

my phone already has a built in wireles charger. and i dont need a popout putton to hold my phone, thats what hands are for. I guess if you need a magnet on your phone then this case is for you.
