Loved the show ❤ the Fashion show is totally expressing himself and blending in together with Valentino . Amazing for the first show and I am excited to see more in the coming years. Also excited to see future commercial collection to see what Alessandro will bring to Valentino’s clients . People being negative here probably didn’t even spent $1 at Valentino or Gucci .
Watch all past Gucci seasons in reverse order and you will know what's going to be instored for Valentino in the coming seaons in and out... You don't need imagination at all really...
@@jcchong8238 I watched all and they all amazing for Gucci. I don’t wanna predict the future and like I said I am excited to see what’s coming for Valentino . Let the future be future , now is now , I enjoyed the show .
The designer only thinks of one style and repeats it over and over again. Even after moving from Gucci for a long time, he still does the same thing....
if michele did not design for gucci prior, then this would be a legit valentino collection. edgier, yes, but the house codes are there. this is the problem. also, i feel like the casting is also very reminiscent of his gucci era. if the same model 'types' used during pier paolo's time were casted, perhaps the clothes would be seen differently.
When a designer rely on props (chiffon over lampshade), ugly models, ugly accessories (and unlike Valentino Dna) to create the mood, you know the clothes do not speak for itself...
@@jcchong8238 i didnt even those props. But yeah the models casted would have played a crucial part to differentiate his gucci era from his valentino era.
Everyone in the comments is saying this is Gucci, I don't think so, this has the Valentino Romanticism correct and the 70s Valentino references are clear. I like the show, but have a difficult time pulling the outfits apart to see what can be worn off of the runway.
There's so much nostalgia and vulnerability embedded in these clothes. The emotion Michele projects in each outfit seems far from Valentino's highly crafted but cool sophistication.
What would have been a real coup is if Michele came back to fashion with a completely innovative point of view. It seems he believes his Gucci aesthetic will be sufficient to get him the same amount of praise at Valentino. I fear that's a miscalculation. My major issue with him has always been his complete irreverence for any house he helms. He doesn't seem that interested in who Valentino is or who Gucci was...just what Michele is about. I question why he hasn't started his own house. He could do this same thing over and over and there will be less cause for concern. This particular collection isn't "bad"....its just not modern anymore. Its not forward.
Αnd what is wrong with not following the style of the brand?Maybe it is time for completely new style for each fashion house. All those houses were created years ago. Also, regardless if you like this collection of Alessandro or not, the latest Valentino style under the ex designers was boring, old-lady like in my opinion.
@@seri895 Then close the house. There's no point in using the Valentino name to push a Michele aesthetic. Start a Michele house. Its quite simple. Que horror, apresentação e coleção! Onde estão as cores lindas da Valentino?! Como na Gucci,as rendas, laços e tecidos feios abundam, melhorou após a sua saída!
Exactly. The tiered chiffon dress has been done to death in Gucci already. Similarly the nose ring chain thingy... U think Valentino fans will take to such styles... Whoever decided to have him as a replacement is seriously lacking in vision and fashion sense...
It’s wearable, desirable, photographs well that’s great. Hes clearly very talented but he’s not a designer anymore. Hes not pushing himself to try different silhouettes and surprise us with something we haven’t seen before from him. It’s always the same 60-70s glamour references, bedazzle stuff. While it’s beautiful and wearable, it’s just the same thing over and over again. He needs to push himself out of his comfort zone and explore more facets around his design philosophy and style.
I'm so tired of this Michele! Why was he hired at Valentino? after all, all this has already been shown 100 times in Gucci, this whole circus gypsy tent, mixed with "Dynasty" and Indian films. he has his own, very bright handwriting, why doesn’t he make his own brand, because he makes clothes named after himself
Exactly. This isn't Valentino - yes, there are hints at vintage valentino but the rest is tired michele looks. Start your own house instead of ruining another.
It is everything I expected. Alessandro Michele is a good designer, but not that good to be heading a couture house like Valentino, sorry. He will repeat the same things wherever he goes like Hedi Slimane, unable to reinvent himself. I'm really not excited to see his first couture collection, clearly not
Sorry, not for me. An example of a one trick pony. Why, oh why would Kering move him from Gucci to Valentino, did you not learn from your balance sheets???
The collection is just awful, all this has already happened in Gucci, people are shocked and disappointed in the end, after Pierpaolo Piccioli, it looks like a mockery of Valentino and I think that both in Gucci and in Valentino, Alessandro Michele will not last long and this needs to be done immediately!
Highly disappointed I feel that Michele would suit a another house. Valentino is a timeless, classic brand. His designs are to wild and outrageous for a refined house such as this. Disappointing to say the least.
I don’t know why people don’t like the “everything everywhere all at once thing” I think people can’t comprehend Alessandro’s genius. Sure this is guccified Valentino, but this is his style of design. It’s absolutely beautiful
J'ai l'impression que nous sommes quelque part dans les années 20, un tel boudoir et Cirque chic. Les anneaux dans le nez semblent étranges. Pour moi, les choses séparément auront l'air bien.
To be honest this is much better of what Pierpaolo was doing lately at Valentino. I quite like it and really sophisticated. I hope that beauty and fragrances will go on the same direction. Offering something creative and daring like guilty absolute was for Gucci.
Comparing others abstract sh*t, this was very creative and nice aesthetics. Fine clothes, finished looks, it's a quality fashion show overall.
Edgy mystic energy bravo king Michele 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

Lack of creativity, no ?
I don't understand why they would hire a designer who failed to sell clothes at another company???
The collection is artistically mesmerizing, but to be honest, it feels outdated. It's like watching a Gucci show from 6 years ago
same designer=same style and ideas, you can’t expect him to change his whole aesthetic to match the previous designer’s
If we see fashion is a kind of art, then there is no outdated thing. Do you agree? Timeless.❤

Why does this guy doesnt open his own label?? Poor Valentino! Now Valentucci! Or better Vucci ??💩💩💩
Is this really Valentino…always looked forward to the Valentino show but this is just Gucci MK2
Nice nod to 1920s, 1930s fashions and 1970s Valentino. I liked half the collection.
Alessandro!!! 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
I missed you Alessandro, but many will not like this Valentino.

assim como a decoração de casa fechada há muito tempo, a coleção parece ter sido tirada do fundo do baú.
They should have given this to Ricardo Tisci
another thrift shop collection

I kept forgetting this was Valentino until I saw the “V” on the bags.
Wipe this collection. Expansive mess!! This fashion house DESERVES someone who is creatively centered on the BRAND that was from the original designs.

The designer seems burnout. He should take a break and regain inspiration.
I don’t think Michelle is a hireable designer. He should’ve just has his online because no matter where he is he’s just gonna do his own things 🤷♀️

Ok its good. Seems dark edgy mysctic but it not for valentino
