- I've been wanting to read Throne of Glass for the longest time...and today's the day!! Or I should say the weeks the day. It took me about 3 weeks to read this 8 book fantasy book series. I hope you enjoy watching me freak out, gasp, and cry over these books.

I loved tower of dawn too! For me, my book empire of storms was so stiff like very thick rough paper and just wasn’t enjoyable to read like my copy of tower of dawn (which was super soft/ floppy pages)
I've just finished Heir of Fire and I'm in love with this saga.
Assasins blade absolutely wrecked me… I read it third as well and cried for 1 hour 😢
I’m currently in the tandem although I didn’t do it 😂. I read EoS until chapter 52 and then started ToD and will read until chapter 38. Then finish EoS.
These 2 books and my favorites thus far. I DEVOURED EoS. And I’m loving ToD. For me not doing the tandem was the way to go. I can’t imagine switching between the stories when they are not related for the most part
The tandem was only created because while the stories themselves are not related to each other, they take place simultaneously so for some people it’s easier to follow along/place things on a timeline in a more orderly manner. But enjoying a book is individual, and I’m glad you did what made the most sense for you! Tandem or not, these books are absolute treasures, and are impossible not to love!

Heir of fire: yes! I hated that character too! Like wtf was he doing…. But then.. ❤ omg how much I love him
Also the new female character.. boring at the beginning and the she gets SO GOOOOOOD
Heir of fire wasn’t my favorite either.. however… during empire of storms I just kept thinking of that book and its arc. I had to go back and reread Aelin’s journey again 😂

I feel the complete opposite😅 I absolutely loved TOG and had such a strong connection with the characters, and found Acotar so boring 🥹 I had huge expectations but it got nowhere near TOG for me
