Status quo ante bellum in this case is that there seats have been declared vacant and it remains so. Tony Okocha one day you will cry for justice.
The term status quo ante bellum is a Latin phrase meaning "the situation as it existed before the war". The term was originally used in treaties to refer to the withdrawal of enemy troops and the restoration of prewar leadership
Maintaining status quo ante bellum referring to the time before the whole issue started refers to the time when before they started going to court. To me it implies that since before going to court Martin and Co had defected according to the constitution,once you defect, you have lost your seat so o don't understand while they were rejoicing over what the appeal court said
But they openly declared that they were now APC members and also read an open affidavit for the defection to APC
but the said affidavit was NOT TENDERED IN THE COURT by fubara and co, so the high court judge gave a judgement in favor of AMAEWHULE and co, they then proceeded to the Appeal and won

(be very assured on that)All evidences and exhibits ended at the lower courts, because there is a timeframe of 14 days to file all exhibits that will be used in the high court ab initio, appeal court and the supreme won't take new exhibits... That's why people can lost very good cases with merit but failed to file essential exhibits out of time...fubara team of lawyers has made a very grievous error.

This shameless man forgot that Dakuku won all his case to Appeal court, but on getting to supreme court, he lost according to the judges on technical ground. Look at what greed is doing to his health. Looking very sick, they want to turn Rivers State to their farm ground. These are the same people that will turn round to ask the governor who he did with Rivers money. Yet they want to arm twist the governor for their own selfish and greedy interests.

APC in rivers state represented by Tony Okocha should be opposition party to PDP in rivers state. But Okocha has continued to support the decamped 27 lawmakers to APC that he has once accepted as members of his APC party.
Ordinarily, Okocha should not be supporting the 27 decamped lawmakers if he is a reponsible politician and if those legislators are not his APC decamp members. It is a shame that politicians no longer respect the integrity of their consciences when they belong to two political parties at the same time.
Tony Okocha can APC care taker chairman is now seen as interpreting court decisions for 27 lawmakers who are neither members of PDP nor APC having decamped publicly to APC.
This man called Okocha the caretaker chairman of APC rivers state usually speaks from both sides of his mouth, he was the one that was calling on the defected members to impeach the governor because he has already accepted there defection to the APC, but they have realised that becoming APC members will make them irrelevant so they are denying that they have defected, what a shameful position. Even this Okocha is also a caretaker party chairman but he was against instituting of the caretaker LGA chairmen by the Government, what a confusing ideology. At this point the rivers state PDP branch has the right to sack all the defected members, just for that dishonest Anti party act and betrayals that they have shown to the PDP, if the PDP sack them i think all this issues will be layed to rest immediately, there will not be any need to even go to court to confirm whether they are authentic law makers or not.
