Yup it's over time to move on no point to stay as more updates will be released like this making it impossible for f2p and 70% of p2p to keep up. Not everyone is this game is Don AA or FY zhan but to IGG nothing matters as long as money is being spent hopefully the player base is significantly reduced and income for the game takes a hit to prove our point of IGG greed has destroyed the game. I worked pretty hard on my familiars so i was pretty excited for the update till I saw how much talent orbs cost. And how many you needed. Sucks bc I will probably never be able to use a single familiar in battle :/ way too expensive
I was so excited for this patch and then it just turned to dispair x.x remember guys that's without the max research or the max familiars, I stopped all my subscriptions to igg and going to hide in a shield and be f2p until they fix this. I've been playing for 2 and a half years and never been let down so hard
Wait.. worthy thats just 1 familiar :0 only 1 familar was effective this rally... you know how terrifying it would be if the guy knew how to stack defense and offense for a blast.... it could wipe out a third of the rally trap or even burn on first hit.

As far as the update goes, I have decided I will just keep my troops number upto 1.5m and be a rally filler and hive camper in newer kingdom. Shitty as it sounds but there's not much a semi p2p players like me can do anymore xD
This is an absolute game changer..... It's not like these familiars cost anything to use, it's a permanent effect. And 100% pay to play..... Not even a way to work on leveling these up without money....

Well my spending just stopped. This update just killed the game for mid level spenders and f2p players who could build traps to still find a way to enjoy the game.
For relatively cheap you can grab 2 wall familiars that will help balance this right away. Evil Weevil gives 15% army HP boost and Aquiris weakens the enemy army HP by 15% also. Unlocking the 2 slots adds barely any might at all and the 3rd slot isn’t all that expensive either though it does take a couple tomes and you can add another attack familiar in there or one that stacks.
but you need a stack load of orbs to awaken and level up the skills. Yes, you make get a few from cargo ship etc, but ultimately to get those 15% (level 10) its going to take a whole bunch of gems or $$
Worthy Prince this is true but let’s face it between gear, heroes and troops most traps aren’t really f2p anyway. I’m almost positive in a month after the big boys blow through several thousands of dollars igg will release a budget pack for casual spenders that is a better value similar to the bursting with riches pack and the $5 pack with 300 tomes. After nearly 3 years invested in this game I have seen this movie before!
I had a gut feeling that IGG will try to find ways to destroy trap accounts. This is it! I mean there are no stacking HP boost what so ever at the start of the battle to even counter those stacking damages of P2P familiars. Even if they provide some f2p materials on the update, people will still end up loosing troops greater than the max available infirmary space. It takes months to make 1M T2s even for low budget people.
Pretty sure I seen a video where sugarkane had his percentage at the end of the battle to just under 2000% he attacked someone with 31 million troops who was in attack gear and talents also had a pretty good rally trap composition and he won and the guy lost 5 million and I believe he burnt ( not too sure about the last bit) the rest is true though because I seen the video.
It's crazy guys, yeah I saw that video from Tashi's live stream, SugarKane rallied a dude with 32mil troops and survived + walkback. Dude lost 5mil troops from that single rally hit and he was online in (wargears + talents).
I can only imagine the massive damage when you combine the paid familiar skills with the pact3 skills and the debuffs. Igg can sùck it for trolling me into thinking that because half the research tree is f2p, that the familiars would at least be affordable
Prince, I love your content and always watch you. Don't lose sight though. Familiars can DESTROY traps... but it'll go both ways. It can be utilized to help traps as well.

This doesn’t even show the full extent of the possible damage! This fully ruins the game for F2P’s as rallies are no longer needed for solo traps. Gang bangs will zero them easily! I am most worried about the pact 3 familiar skills because of the troop attack boost after every 10% fall. It basically means that a 375k t4 cab blast will end up being 5x as powerful or more than before! Plus they aren’t even as expensive as the other familiars. Ughhhh this ends any F2P aspirations as you can just be soloed now... as for mid-low tier spenders well they just get rallied and screwed...

I feel very optimistic because not many people see the way to survive this new update it's pretty simple actually it's just a matter of converting and reasserting yourself. Sadly solo traps no matter which way you take it will be extinct even if they have familiars maxed out. For a rally trapper to survive they have to get more intricate. Rally traps are used to switch gear and popping attack boost and if they have a good guild getting reins but there's a lot more work to do now and there's still more to come.
Those buffs are insane. I dont see why people are so upset though. I mean yes, it didn't improve the game for FTP players but for those who clearly IGG is catering to (those who spend) this is a great upgrade. Worthy, the familers where they seem expensive but in reality it's a little bit more cheaper than it is on the surfaces the awakeing cost is high initially but it drops to 36 orbs for the trickstar to upgrade to lv2 I'm assuming it will increase rappidly but it suppriesd me a little bit
This is the end of traps as we know them. With trickstar, gemmin and goblin, the more troops you have the worse. That Sugarbane rally, if the defender had same familiars and less troops it would have won.

Could of easily been his inf hp or attack was lower too, it’s a lot easier to have higher range attack in mixed gear. Obviously the familiars made a big difference and I’m pissed but would of liked to see the exact same setup

I saw a 6m troop loss in a rally on a Goliath. I think it is possible for f2p to develop their familiars, but not at the speed needed to survive. I've gotten orbs from log in and hell events so far so I think they may have added these options following complaints
If there was a chance for the f2p community to be something before this update now there is literally not even a 1% chance to be something, and this update doesn't just kill the f2p community it actually kills the low budget spenders and the medium spenders so unless you are willing to pay 100k $ on this game after this update then you can either stay shielded or play Farmville, for me as a f2p I'm definitely not gonna be able to get anywhere with people like that running around specially when you know that sugar family will definitely have these familiars maxed in no time and many more big spenders

That is much worse than I expected.:-( Also, got sooooo angry first thing in the morning - started the game and here it is 20 euro pack and 5 euro pack. I am a low spender and sometimes buy cheaper packs with monster parts etc but now I see there is no point to work on my gear - so no more spending from me. This is more of a game changer then a game killer it will make it in to a skirmish game no more traps or rally traps unless there is some counter play which i do not see there being, even on defence they are not viable as you would need to lose a large % of your army for them to even activate in a perfect scenario they could stack 3000%+(which wouldnt happen it would be more like 800%) of any troop dmg along with stunning heros etc. the only chance you have is being online to counter the troop type They either need to change it asap, add something in to counter it or be prepared to lose revenue. they could have been smarter with this one if they aimed it at wonder or the top 1% of players like with the grim reaper ability but this is available for pretty much any player
Wow and this is without the familiar that increases the attack, can't even imagine how much damage it would do. I got the skill level 2 and the difference is already insane.

Gonna get my loreweaver to gold since that was always a goal. 130/150. Once that is finished they are not getting anything from me. Thankfully I always kept troops under 1m so I can always keep them safe. No stress! Can imagine the amount of stress the traps and higher might peeps are feeling.
Those familiars are awesome in battle but because of all the money you need to put in i feel even more disappointed now i know how much damage they can do. :(
I have seen all yotubers and learned about the latest updates, the conclusion is that this update does not make sense, what if you contact the past TH-camrs to give command to everyone in the kingdom for a 3-day shield and not open the game, as a form protesting for this crazy update
everyones freaking out, but lets be honest here everyone did the same for mythic gear, 11k heroes, blackwing familar etc, nothings gonna change just titans throwing more money at igg, tbh i think titans are just mad they cant burn any castle with a solo or a rally so igg are getting them geared so they can get closer just be careful who you get hit by
SUGARKANE... Has already all five familiar spots unlocked and awakened and is dropping 2.5M troops on a rally trap with 21M troops. That's just crazy... hey IGG give me another spot where I can build up these infirmarys

I think the update is for titans Just like mitic champions, gear and jewls research pacts etc it wont matter for f2p or mid p2p

Stoootrap showed a Sugarkane rally where his hit 21 mill troop castle as test with max familiars, he only lost by 1%, iirc he killed almost 3 mill

I have seen all yotubers and learned about the latest updates, the conclusion is that this update does not make sense, what if you contact the past TH-camrs to give command to everyone in the kingdom for a 3-day shield and not open the game, as a form protesting for this crazy update

everyones freaking out, but lets be honest here everyone did the same for mythic gear, 11k heroes, blackwing familar etc, nothings gonna change just titans throwing more money at igg, tbh i think titans are just mad they cant burn any castle with a solo or a rally so igg are getting them geared so they can get closer just be careful who you get hit by

I just got 31 talent orbs from cargo trade! there is hope for f2p players yet! just play smart and shield until you can get some decent familiars to counter the madness now :)
A few decent familiars mean nothing when the big players will have all those you have and more you can't get for free, fully maxed out.
Was playing for 2 years today as F2P and quit the game, got myself zeroed, enough is enough left the game 238m core might and 227m kills. Thanks IGG it WAS fun.

great update IMO, traps are way too OP. this was needed, and only people who rely on traps seem upset IMO

Building a f2p trap based on worthy's design was my last ditch effort to remember why i wasted so much time and effort on this game. Now on the same day i finally finish and successfully cap someone i see this.... this is bullshit. What have i been wasting my time doing?
