i cant really articulate why the simplicity that works so well for a chart like drop the bounce doesn’t work for me here. it could be a coordination thing but the drills in this chart for me are miserable to execute in a way they aren’t for other ~180 bpm charts
@@digitaldeathsquid3448 I got 20 years of experience. Not every chart has to be overly complex to be viable or playable. In fact, I'd wager the more complex a chart is, the less fun it is to play. It also depends on the song itself and how the chart difficulties are designed around it, and step theory IS a thing these days.
I played this chart 25 times in a row recently, so I now consider myself to be a STULTI expert. In my highly expert opinion, the hardest and worst part of the chart is at 1:04. After a 12th stream with crossovers that are easier to doublestep, you are left on a crossed-over Freeze, and then you do a very uncomfortable backwards box staircase thing that made me feel as though my legs were being slurped upwards through a Silly Straw. But overall I like this chart and its tutorialized soflan drills.
“man why does everybody hate stulti, it’s not a great chart by any means but it doesn’t look too bad” *plays it once* “wow this chart fucking sucks lol”
“Yamada san has an iq of 90 and in his last performance review he received the comment, ‘has no concept of a fun or fair challenge in rhythm gaming.’ What should we do with this guy?” “Let’s put him on the ddr stepcharts. Nobody cares about that game anymore and we sued the only competition it had.”
Anybody who says this chart sucks simply does not appreciate the simplicity of its design. That is my two-cents on this and I will die on this hill.

Reminds me of the 10-footers of old. This would have been right at home on something like Extreme, MAX 2 or SN1
