- I am opening 25 random NBA basketball sports card hobby packs from 25 different sets/products for our next pack/box break! One single pack can have anything in it, and across all the countless sets, there are so many different cards to find! I wanted to open as many different products as possible to get a look at all the various sets and hopefully pull some cool cards along with it! The products in this video include stuff like 2021-22 Panini Select Basketball 1st/First Off The Line (FOTL), 21-22 Crown Royale, 20-21 Obsidian, 21-22 Spectra, 20-21 Prizm, various retail formats (hangers, fat packs, cellos), 21-22 NBA Hoops, 20-21 Contenders, 21-22 Illusions, Kobe Anthology, 2016-17 Donruss Optic, 21-22 Elite, Player of The Day, and 21-22 PhotoGenic. Prizm is my Favorite set, regardless of just the silver prizm you can get for the most retail, it holds a high ceiling if it gets graded to psa 10. Never got a silver lamelo just base since opening a pack/box.

I think that Melo was an awesome pull. Love seeing the 16-17 and 17-18 stuff, reminds me of the days when you could just walk into a Target or Wal Mart and get some cards (sometimes even discounted).

This may be a really stupid question. But when you are a putting a base set together. Does it matter if you mix retail and hobby or is it different?
As long as the cards are the same between the formats, it doesn’t matter. Some sets like select have different base in retail and hobby

Panini should do cards for us sneakerheads. The colorways can be parallels, and feature all the players who wear Kobe's, KDs, etc. And autos within the colorway parallels.
Since they can get the rights to put swooshes on patch cards, I'm sure they can do kicks.

I'm sure there are numbers on the holograms on the boxes that match up with each hit... not just kabooms... kabooms have been brought to light. If only they can put those stickers on the inside of the box and then sealed it would fix the issue easily

The only local hobby shop around me sucks they only sell unopened boxes and no individual hobby packs do any hobby shops sell packs individually out of hobby boxes anymore?

Hey so I just pulled a Drew Bledsoe 01/25 Card and I cant find the value online for it. I also pulled a T.J. Watt Drip card as well they are both prestige

There's something about getting a bum auto from your home team that makes it ok. I remember paying quite a bit to get the Yankees in a full case break of Topps Archives and getting skunked until I got a John Flaherty auto /99 worth maybe 10% of my buy in on its best day. But to me, its an auto of the guy that got the walk off hit in the game where Jeter went into the stands face first. Normally I would have been mad at the horrible ROI, but that card is now part of my Yankees PC. I don't have a Jeter auto, but at least I got something Jeter adjacent😀
