I have this tank bag and love it... better than the tank lock, in my opinion. The only bad thing is when you put your phone in that plastic, depends on where you are from if its too much sun, my phone overheated so I don't use that phone slot at all... rather is where I put the waterproof cover.
Not yet. As long as you check everytime that there is no grit etc on the bag its been fine. I also have quite a thick layer of wax on there just in case 😁

1:05 why not zip the bag symmetrically? that way you would get a "entrance" for the cable at the very top/front of the bag

I made a 10 x 5 hole in mine on the inside where the charging point on my phone is, I put the phone in the flap and then plug in the phone.
