I'm looking at the figure right now in front of me and I have to say it's a pretty great figure. I have about 20 Flash figures in the 6" scale and this one is really nice. Not a huge fan of the costume but it seems every character is getting an update. I agree he (and Wonder Woman) are the best in this series. Thanks Spot!
The costume is home made by Barry. He used materials that space shuttles use so the costume can resist the friction that it faces when he's running. The silver lines are wires so when the Lightning emits from his body it doesn't hit or hurt pedestrians, it'll just run along the wires. Barry is supposed to get a new costume from Waynetech at the end of the film.
I like Flash's outfit from the comics, the TV series and Injustice 2. However, I'm not a fan of this particular outfit. Its an odd design that just doesn't fit the character. It has too much going on and as a result, it ends up being a bit on the busy side. The face is a bit off putting as well. At least the review was great. Thanks so much Spot!

Flashes suit from the movie is more realistic. If his suit was just fabric it would burn up as soon as he starts to run. In the movie Bruce Wayne says that the same material of his suit is the same as what they use on the space shuttle keeping it from burning up.
I like the way this suit looks, but I'd still prefer for it to look more like the comic version more. Armor just doesn't really work for a character like Flash.
Costume is good it feels like Bruce Wayne made it because it looks like it has technology and I think the black and red and silver and gold was a good add up.
I like the Flash figure, but they did alot of black accents in the figure that really bugs me, and there's a little bright colours compared to the dark accents. And you were right, they would have added some lightning bolts.
ya know....The costume isn't that bad actually...He himself is the fastest man alive but a plain fabric suit might not be able to stand the friction while he is running or doing stuffs.....that is why he might need something which is fibrous or tough enough......and simultaneously quite light for fluid movement..

Still a better costume than the Grant guy series. The updated design (in my opinion) actually makes sense for the "fastest man alive" its gives him more protection whenever he's running against small and unseen insects or other objects flying across his path for all we know
Sure, maybe better than Grant Gustin's Flash suit from Season 1-3, but I don't think it's better than his Season 4 and 2024 Flash suit. That suit is amazing. Comic book accurate. Would be perfect if they added the yellow/golden boots.

I love the suit but i totally understand why you don't. I quite like the mix of colours. I think it looks much better than the TV Flash suit wich i absolutely despise.

I like the costume but I would change a few things like the under suit should be red rather than black, I also don't like how the mask/cowl comes to a point in the back of the head...but besides those two things I really like the suit
Great review! Those details in the costume looks like he got tangled with Christmas tree decorations. I don't usually mind the lining and designs for most modern costumes, but this is over doing it... The designs aren't highlighting form but detracting from it. But decent looking figure and at least the hips are updated from the usual awful Mattel square T-joint hips.👍🏻
Not a fan of this "armored" look for the suit at all- HOW can this not generate tons of drag as he runs? I have the feeling that someone in the design team was a big Iron Man fan- it looks more like an Iron Man variant than what the Flash SHOULD look like... And did the sculptor for Superman not get memo on his height versus the other team members? It's like quality control SAW the height thing, and just shrugged...
Most of the Jl costumes are a bit too much. Batman's new tactical suit, Aquaman's armour, Cyborg a.k.a. Clusterfuck, even the Flying Fox. From the look of it, even Steppenwolf and Parademons look like a jumbled mess. Just not aesthetically pleasing. BvS did great in comparison.

I also hate the whole lightning bolts all over the place thing. I prefer just after image trail. This is his Proto suit that was made from parts at NASA designed for friction for entering earth's atmosphere, so it doesn't burn up. The reason for the plates I assume, is to allow protection and movablility.

FinlandTrooper this flash doesn't know that but for some reason his clothes still burn without a special suit even with the speed force protection

The body mold is great but the face is really off putting to me. Also I really hate the costume too. I like the how he looks in figure form though.

But it makes sense to me. It supposed to be stolen metal from NASA. A type that doesn't burn up, or heat himself on the inside when he moves so fast.
