Frosty bar was the place to be back in the day. Peanut shells on the floor brought back some good memories. The oil from the shells was good for the floorboards. Still got some Frosty t-shirts from back in the day.
You're right. The place was one of the main venues. And still is. Times change and being old I like how it was but a lot more people get to go there since the jet express started. I was B Dock Trash but my kids loved the place to because there was something for everyone.
Thankyou very much for watching it. I love this place. But as I said in it, it has changed. But then, I've gotten too old to party 24/7 to. 25 years ago I went here and partied on B Dock for 4 days and slept 10 hours total. But that was more sleep than the 3 friends I took with me on my boat had. They had the time of their lives they told me. I'm going to Kawama December 4 to 19. The lady who helped keep repeaters happy just retired after 31 years and I'm curious to see if it goes down hill. I'll report soon.
B Dock is $2.25 a foot for boat dockage. South Bass Island hotels are $200+ a night. South Bass State Park campsites are $33 a night for up to 6 people.
Mackinac Island is beautiful to. But I first went to Put In Bay when I was 27 and the party there at that time in 1980 was wild on the docks compared to Mackinac. Now I'm 70 and I know what you mean. lol

I flew into Put-In-Bay from my home airport on Grosse Ile, MI in my 206 a number of years ago. It's alright...but I much prefer Mackinac Island.
