Hey mate, thanks for the kind words here! So sorry once again for streaming at the same time (I wasn't aware) hopefully you ended up having lots of wonderful Warning supporters head your way! Thanks for the sub, I've returned the favour and hope we can stay in touch :) Be well my friend.
Welp, I missed this live. So, I used it to be by one video saved in my history to get my algorithm and home screen on TH-cam to work again. I thought you should know that. Thank you for your service. 🤘⚡🔥
Mate I rate that commitment! Thank you very much for using one of my videos to help your home screen algorithm, humbled by that. I hope you’ve had a great weekend and getting things in line for a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones. Be well.
The last TH-camr the warning did an interview was wingsofPegasus who is also out of England . It’s on his channel. The chances of them doing a TH-camr interview now are slim to none since the band has grown in popularity substantially since that interview .
@@lookiloo100 keep thinking that , I know 3 channels with way more subs than this channel who all got turned down and one of those channels has interviewed hoobastank and many other national bands , and he said he applied 3 times in the last year and was denied all three times.
Great reaction. Hope your grieving period gets better. My little buddy is 18 1/2 which has amazed me but his time will come. Pain doesn't go away but new memories and experiences take us forward and we become better people as we continue to grow. Peace to you.
I've read that Paulina plays polyrhythmic drum patterns on the song MARTIRIO. I would love to hear your opinion on this. The Warning: 3 amazing young musical geniuses headed for super Stardom in my opinion. .🎸 🥁 🎸🎤 🎶 🎵
Los buenos temas de rock de The Warning sus contenidos y riffs han echo que TW se gane el lugar de ser el mejor trio de rock del 2023 ,son pura calidad y talento
Great show. Don't pay attention to those complaining about the air-drumming. What do they expect from a drummer? Also, quit worrying about those who might get upset about you saying the drumming is simple or basic. Because a lot of the time it is. The song doesn't need fancy, or flashy all the time. Doesn't matter which song. Pau has fun in the places it makes sense to have fun. Just like Dani's guitar solos. She only does them when they serve the song. Everything they do is what the song needs them to do. That is the beauty of this band. They aren't selfish. They are confident enough to know that simple is better, and they are skilled enough to play the simple stuff to perfection. And they change things up enough to keep everyone on their toes. Just when you think you know where they are going to go, the go somewhere else. Or show you a flash of that talent.
Loved watching the replay of your stream. I didn't see it in my feed, until 19 hours later. TH-cam is doing it's silly things. I really enjoyed your analysis, It's really insightful. As for viewing streams, It's not unusual for TWA to multitask streams. LOL! The insane thing is that most of us are fully engaged in all of them, at the same time. As for comment section postings, it's important to remember that a lot of posts are coming from all around the world and are often not translated well, so some of that "giving you crap" stuff might just be differences in interpretation or phrasing and that kind of thing. I often see comments going both ways, where the host's statements are misinterpreted by TH-cam's "Auto-translate to______" feature and the reply is often mistranslated by Google or whatever software is being used.
Live streams a fun challenge. If you watch the chat, you miss the music and vice versa. Some streamers will focus on the video, then pause to speak THEN catch up on the chat so you're never in the position of trying to read chat and respond while the music is playing at the same time.
Thanks for this. Very enjoyable. For future reference, be aware of your mic level when talking over the music. There were times that your comments were hard to hear (minor point). Happy Holidays and safe travels!
Great content as usual Mr drum nerd. I have a question. I know you enjoy the music and vibe from the Warning but among your favourite drummers I was wondering how you rate Pau?
Enjoy your reactions. Live streaming has to be a challenge, but maybe don't try to read the chat while the music is playing? You missed some great fills in Ugh, for example.
Man, I like your input about drums and taking the time to analyze Paulina’s drumming, but I noticed your video lagging a lot, I assume you have a fast internet. But remember that windows is crappy. It supposed to be a multitasking software but, ehhh, it barely multitasks. You need a lot of memory RAM with windows to make it run smoothly. I noticed that you have too many windows open, maybe you are working on different stuff at the same time. If you close all that, your videos will run more smoothly. I guess. I’m sorry man, I don’t mean to rant, it just that windows stress me out 😅.
I love being a fan, but I strongly dislike the fanatics in The Warning Army. Reality check, Pau is not the greatest technical drummer on the planet, she is not Neal Peart level, same for Ale and Dany. They are my favorite musicians, that you can say, but saying that they are world class level technical players, is being delusional. They may be a lot more technically proficient then what they have shown, but objectively, as of now, there are no video recordings that support this thesis, and the way they construct songs, we will probably never find out and that is fine. That being said, I myself never cared for great technical bands that like to showoff their skills like DragonForce, Dream Theatre or Japanese Rock, because to me great music often needs to follow the less is more maxim, but if you love listening to those very technical bands, more power to you, this has never been my thing. Like I often say give me one Gilmour solo over a hundred shredders, just my taste. One thing that I would like, would be for Drumeo to invite Pau to do one of their first listen videos, as to me Pau is one of the best musical drummer I have ever heard, so would be very curious to see what she would do with a song that she would be hearing for the first time.
There's a video of Pau jamming with another young female drummer as publicity fo Hit Like A Girl. It was an EDM style song. I don't recall her name off the top of my head.
Both Pau and Ale were playing very technical songs when they were very young. Pau was playing Dream Theatre while Ale was playing Paco. They both have videos playing jazz practicing their techniques. Dany has played legendary classic rock songs since she was 14 while playing both lead and rhythm as well as singing. Shredding some of classic rock's legendary riffs. Im not a technical nerd myself, but there is footage out there. And there's plenty of commenters that haven't simply hailed them to be technical musicians because they're huge fans. They've backed up and showed exactly what and how they do that's technically impressive. The main difference between them and others is they don't make their music about their technical abilities. Their aim isn't to show off, but to create great music that happens to have small nuggets here and there that many will miss. But when you hear them, you appreciate them and you get it. Kind of a cheap shot to paint TWA as noobs when there's plenty of experienced and knowledgeable fans out there. Simply because you haven' seen it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Simply because you don't recognize it, doesn't mean they don't do it.
@@andgar923 Pau practiced Dream Theatre, but she admitted to never getting there and she mentioned wanting to get back to it, but now with how busy they are, she doubts ever being able to. There is a big difference between being good technically speaking and being the world class. Lets be realistic here, they are not playing Rush, DragonForce or Dream Theatre level technical songs every night, like those bands are, so unless they do, mentioning them in the same breath as those virtuosos is irrational. Once again there is a big difference if you say that she is you favorite drummer, then that becomes a question of taste/preferences.
@@reactionsaccount3955 Not to go back and forth, but just because she doesn't practice that specific song doesn't mean that she doesn't practice or hasn't improved. It's borderline insulting to even hint that she wouldn't be able to improve since she was 13. You also forget that what they do IS technical. Being able to sing and perform IS technical and almost impossible for the vast vast majority of musicians out there. Even the top top top notch musicians can't do what they do, nor come close to it.
Yeah I’m starting to realise that 🤦♂️ I hope it wasn’t too glitchy, the chat didn’t mention it so I assumed it was fine. New year investment me thinks. Be well.
I dont understand the hate for lars. If it wasn't for lars many of your favorite bands wouldn't exist. Lars doesn't have to reach out to pau. Him asking the band to put their spin on the song. The fact that lars put the warning version first on the Blacklist album says alot.
The dislike for lars is his arrogant, shitty, unprofessional and seeming ungrateful attitude with regards to almost anyone who has helped him get to where he is. He seems like a very unpleasant individual who has no regard for the sponsors or without even knowing why he endorses what he does. Finally, with a man lacking in drum ability as much as he does; it really isn't any wonder a lot of people aren't fans. Look at Neil Peart and how great he was both drum wise and politeness wise. Be well.
@DRUMNERD your bias is showing. As a fan of Metallica and lars since 84, I can assure you that he's nothing like you described. I've met him and have hung out with him. Much of the hate comes from him taking on Napster. You're entitled to your opinion, but its kinda crappy to talk about other drummers and how you dislike them while doing a review on someone who was inspired by them. The black album had the most simple drum beats, but it influenced most of the bands that are around today. You shouldn't ignore that fact. Have a good day. 👍
I have no comment on Lars himself. But the Warnings song being first on the Blacklist album is because it was done in alphabetical order. Don't believe me check it out for yourself. I made the same mistake. Its listed first as Alessia Cara and The Warning .
@@kevenbridges9433First by song order on the Black Album then alphabetical by artist name, Alessia Cara in this case. So it is just coincidental -- or fortuitous -- that the Blacklist saves the best for first.
