yes colins right. The third book doesn't feature Mark much as if I recall he's died in the book and she's trying to raise children on her own. I think if cinema viewers saw that Mark darcy/Colin firth had died we would be devastated
the 3rd book was set after this one although it was released before it... She already has 2 kids (both girls so this film doesn't seem to follow if they do make "mad about the boy" into a film).... and Darcy is dead. Personally I didn't like Mad about the boy. Bridget is rich and no longer relateable. Darcy is dead, and it just doesn't fit. Cleaver is still around too....

I loved all three Bridget Jones movies. I get goosebumps when I see the romance and the love in the characters of Bridget/Renee and Mark/Colin from the very first edition. I hope they will make the 4th and they will have Bridget and Mark juggle their family life with their jobs. There could be MANY funny scenes I can think of..... And all of Bridget's friends have children to play with and try to do holiday events together. They could have another baby towards the end since she is supposed to have 2 kids in the book Mad About The Boy, but I want Darcy to grow old with her. Jack/Patrick Dempsey is such a sweetie. (Too bad Ellen Pompeo couldn't be Jack's girlfriend and he could tell Bridget that she reminded him of her, cause they kind of look like they could be related.) I know Daniel is supposed to be still alive despite the funeral, and there could be some interesting scenes if Hugh came back to play Daniel.
It's weird to see Patrick Dempsey in Bridget Jones's Baby because I am used to watch Grey's anatomy....

I just love Renee! She is such an amazing beautiful woman! ♥️♥️♥️ I like how she behaves and expresses her opinion. And of course I like her British accent! Its just perfect to listen especially for those who are learning English!
Mark D'Arcy absolutely has to be in Bridget Jones films, can't wait for number 4 with him, Renee and Hugh. Wonderful!!

@@shreyatripathi2083 I am just reading your answer and I am positive you are right...he did just discover that his wife had an affair and it must have been unbearable for him to sit thru an interview in which he is supposed to be happy and laughing like Renee and Patrick. I can't even imagine what he is thinking. I feel for him. How anybody could cheat on Colin I will never understand.
