Oh good lord what a heartbreaking little story😢 thank you. So empathic and balanced, such a rarity on a large percentage of 'Clickbait spooky channels' bravo xx
@carolescutt2257 it was an awful thing to happen, especially at that time of year. Thank you so much. I always try to stick to facts, and not speculate x
Never knew this. Just so sad . Thank you for sharing . God bless the little children 😢
Thank you so much for watching.
What a tragic thing to happen to those poor children who died and for the children who were injured, its the poor families that had to identify their children so so sad 😢
@brendagilliland5602 it was. It's always difficult when children are involved in tragedies like this. Thank you so much for watching.
Never knew this! Thanks for bringing attention to it, even though it was so long ago.
Thank you for watching.
It was a really tragic event. The anniversary is tomorrow. Maybe I'll pay a visit to the memorial, before I go to my work.
That would be a lovely thing to do. Thank you for watching Claire x
@@scotlandshistory You can actually see the roof of the Glen Cinema from where the memorial stands. The memorial is in Dunn Square, and the cinema is on the other side of Gauze Street.
My friend's dad was a survivor and lived till he was 90 - he was a proper gentleman.
That's lovely to hear. Thank you for watching the video.
Born in Johnstone in 1960 and spent my early years in Paisley . Never knew about this tragedy 😢
It was incredibly sad. Thank you so much for watching.
What a loss to paisley, at least we learned from these sort of tragedys
I agree. Sometimes it takes tragic events to bring in change. Thank you so much for watching the video.
Such a tragedy.
@@gordonmculloch4904 it was. Thank you for watching.
My family lost 2 in the tragedy. Great grandmother was pregnant with my gran and her twin at the time. Terrible tragedy.
That's so sad. Thank you for watching.
@scotlandshistory I have involved my own kids in the research and remembrance services held each year. On researching the plot my grandmother's siblings were buried in there was 5 of her siblings in the one plot, including her twin. Such a sad life but my great gran lived into her 90s so she was a fighter.
@pbc0174 that's so sad. At least they're together. It's also lovely that you get your children to remember x
@@scotlandshistory it's a terrible tragedy and seeing how hard our ancestors had it makes me appreciate my own life all the more.
Celluloid was incredibly flammable
