@@ZAXDJ I should say the 5 og members of Gacharic Spin. The line up now cinsists of a new singer MC, Angie and a new drummer Yuri that allows Hana to play guitar and sing up front w Tomo-Zo, Koga and Angie

Good catch recognizing Hana from Gacharic Spin (and I see others have filled you in). Not only is she an excellent drummer and singer, she also plays bass, guitar, aerophone, toothbrush, plastic ruler, scissors and stapler. Basically she plays whatever she wants. I'll attempt to link her cover of "Smells like Teen Spirit" on household objects in another comment.
The band was formed when Fuki stepped in for Gacharic Spin on tour.
They enjoyed it so much that they deicided to make this sideproject.
GS' "I wish I" has some of the elements you find in this, so maybe next?
Strongly second this recommendation of I wish I. One of my favourite songs. Period.
You can go ahead and pronounce the "$" in DOLL$BOXX like an "S".
"Dōruzu Bokkusu" if you want to be fancy. (the "u" is devoiced, or close to silent).
I haven't seen a translation of the opening or closing dialog, but they are poking fun at the Idol culture that often features cute girls with minimal musical talent.
All of the songs from the two DOLL$BOXX albums have music videos.
This song is from 'Dolls Apartment', and the "to be continued…" at the end of each video leads to the next one in the series.

One of my favorite bands❤... but please check out their live performances, "Take My Chance": th-cam.com/video/GiWSW8YkBfs/w-d-xo.html and "Shout Down": th-cam.com/video/EOLZ2gLGwL4/w-d-xo.html from their last tour in 2018, they are much better.
Actually this band is a side project, the singer is part of Unlucky Morpheus, and the rest of the girls are part of Gacharic Spin.😉

I think the Gacharic Spin song you checked out was MindSet IIRC? If so, this is basically the exact same band as in that MV, but swap out pink haired singer for Fuki from Unlucky Morpheus.
It's worth noting that whilst Hana was Gacharic Spin's drummer and vocalist for a long time she switched to guitar and vocals back in 2019 and new drummer Yuri came in along with pink haired singer Angelina 1/3rd. Yuri was out on maternity leave when their last album was recorded and the MV to MindSet shot however, so Hana went back on drums for that album and MV.
Hana is a super talent though, I'm very glad to see someone's linked you her cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit, it's amazing!

You may or may not know of the Rock family trees from the 70's & 80 's. Which showed the inter connects between all the groups at that time ... ? The Japanese Rock scene is getting close to that : Its a good sign for diversity and why the 70's, was so diverse :)

Exactly this. Getting into the Japanese rock scene is like stepping into a musical soap opera. Look at how many bands spawned from Destrose alone. At first I was reluctant to get into Gacharic Spin because of their many lineup changes, but now that's one of their more interesting aspects. They've overcome lots of obstacles and yet the core remains and thrives!
@@Oedwak I wouldn't consider their line up to have changed that much. Afaik they have only lost 1 member/singer. And that was due to death. The dancers may have changed/come and gone, but the core players have remained and in fact increased.
