My pick, Bo-Katan Vs Moff Gideon. A. We don't know his skills in light-combat, and if I had to guess he's skilled as Pre-Vizla. Also, If Ahsoka could hold her own against Darth Vader. I doubt Moff Gideon would not last long against Ahsoka. B. Bo-Katan is looking for Moff Gideon, so it would make more sense for them to fight. Ahsoka has no direct reason to do so. We don't even know if they've heard of each other.
@@louisnall3102 Pre-Vizla was a Mandalorian, trained since he was a child. Gideon was an Imperial Security Bureau officer. His skills are likely mostly in strategy, he can pilot which means his reflexes are top notch. Like Thrawn his personal combat capabilities are probably good but not on par with a Jedi or a Mandalorian. Time will tell.

The only thing is with the vibroblade he'd have to constantly jerk it up and down to saw through the metal, with the lightsaber he just has to glide it around (albeit with some effort depending on how thick the metal is).
Now that's a neat concept-the Imperial equivalent of Count Dooku. Elegant, denoting aristocracy if not a tad prissy, but still a good sub villain with some sword fighting skills. A mix between Dooku, Vader, and perhaps Lando if he was evil, extra prissy, and served under Tarkin.
I like how 'hands on' he is for an Moff, as other imperial officers would sit back and let the troopers do the dirty work for them. Shows how skilled he is and not just another fancy officer, Moff Gideon gets the job done.
This is what more of the Imperials should’ve been like. Calm, cool and collected. They did a great job at portraying Moff Gideon like that. Props to them.

Honestly, it's really cool to see another competent and menacing Imperial in Star Wars, and to have him played by such a talented guy like Giancarlo. Now I'm wondering who he may have had contact with during Palpatine's rule? The Emperor himself? Vader? Tarkin? Thrawn? I just want to see more of him.

The use of death troopers in his scenes were even better. Death troopers are my favorite imperial trooper variant. They are literally cybernetic in some parts and are literally just badass

A single character from a TV show is more villainous, threatening, and badass than any character from Disney’s film trilogy. But really that goes for any character from a Star Wars TV series, including Clone Wars and Rebels... thanks to Dave Filoni.
Gideon is full of suprises. Here's some of my reactions during times he appeared: "Oh, great, now he has Death Troopers with him" "Oh, great, yeah he now has a vibroblade" "Oh, shit, It's not a vibroblade, but The Darksaber" "Ah shit, he has Dark Troopers now"

Everyone hates him because of what he'd do to baby Yoda, so already a great villain. He also has influence, and can make an imperial captain literally preform suicide.
This theme sums Gideon up perfectly. The beginning sounds like a military march while the rest is dark and menacing and mysterious. He’s already rapidly approaching Vader level of intimidating. And judging by what we’ve seen he’ll probably surpass it and get to Snoke/Palps level. Everybody gangsta until Gideon not only survives his TIE fighter exploding, but uses the dark saber he probably got in a not very pretty way to cut himself out. And if he turns out to be force sensitive everyone’s screwed.
This show proves that Star Wars fans aren’t some unpleasable mob of miserable louts who hate their own favorite franchise. When you create something with LOVE, PASSION and most importantly A PLAN it shows. And people will love it.
The writing is great and now the actor has made that just come to life perfectly! The menacing power that exudes from Moff Gideon regardless of the highs and lows throughout his battle is just perfect. Thank you for uploading this!!!

Giancarlo fits so well in this character, reminds me count Dooku, well dressed, charming, elegant and evil.
