What an episode! Such a unique experience at Gorrie station. No other big lappers could boast such an amazing station stay. Has to be right up there with one of the highlights of your entire travels. That fishing spot was beaut
@@Adamsfamilytravels yes I know Wayne as I met him a few times. He is good friends with Greg and Gary Slack ( Wayne was with Bonnets Saddlery ) - Brian & Heather would put me up for week-ends that the boarding school was closed for. I just recently saw a FB commentary that Wayne did on Rolfy Dahl kicking for goal at an Old Scholars footy game (I never played for the old scholars) and it is a great commentary.
Hi Guys, can you show us and tell us about your caravan, what you like and what you don't like. How is it performing overall. Enjoy your vids and easy going style.
Thanks Keith, we have made a video of our caravan inside and out but are currently on the Gibb River rd so very limited reception. It will be up as soon as we can. Cheers
Great vid! So, how much did it cost to stay at Gorrie Station - those helicopter flights wouldn't be cheap. I notice you left Lorella and drove sth to Cape Crawford instead of continuing to Roper Bar which adds a lot of k's to the trip and, you missed out on some great river campsites (and fishing) along the way. Was the road too rough at that point?
Hi mate, Gorrie was a private station owned by a family friend so not open to the public. Had a great week with them. We went through Cape Crawford for fuel and wanted to go back to Daly Waters. Next year we will head north from Lorella for a couple of weeks. Cheers Dale

Certainly is one of our favorites👍
Excellent video. It was good to see Mike in action. I went to HighSchool with him and it brought back good memories. I would see his updates on FB.
Hi Ian,
Such a tragedy. He sure was a great man with a huge heart. Always giving to everyone.
Did you know Wayne Johnson?
Cheers Dale and Tracey

Looks a top spot! And some nice fish! 👍
Cheers
