I disagree. I find it highly instructive to see a pro player wash an advanced amateur player. It reveals to me (1) why the pro player is so good, (2) what separates them from advanced amateurs, (3) how to counter/beat tricky strats that advanced amateurs use. When pros play pros, they "respect" each other, and so I can't learn how to beat tricky-but-unsafe stuff from their matches.
