It’s effin weird tbh about the Ayane and Pin arc in the manga lol but somehow, Pin got me lol. Hopefully the adaptation will make him look how he is in the manga. He is so handsome with his hair down. Good thing they didn’t push the Pin/Ayane thing cuz bruh so wrong at that age but hopefully there will be a separate adaptation of what happens after 10 yrs, as what Pin mentioned. Pin is so attractive during his serious moments with Ayane and it’s like Ayane brings that other side of him so hopefully they’ll get together after 10yrs lol.
I actually liked it and I thought Pin was very caring towards Ayane while rejecting her. He didn't want to give her false hope so he was stating the facts about their age gap. But he didn't abandon her he told her he will be there for her and also believes in her. He also ate the chocolate she brought. It's kinda rare for someone like Pin to be kind with words. He doesn't show that. I read vol 29 and some parts where Pin and Ayane interact only to know about them. I refuse to believe the writer didn't want them to end up together. Like how they met multiple times and he saved her from others. He also walked her home. She gifted him chocolates for valentine's day twice without realizing. He is her first love. He waited for her to know her result and also bought an eraser to give her. He could see right through her. He knew when she fell for him and still was soft towards her. He was not dumb like other men when they couldn't figure out when a girl liked them. Comparing his rejection towards Kurumi ( he misunderstood that of course she liked Kazehaya) he acted a lot differently in Ayane's case. I felt Pin was also kinda jealous when Joe said that if Ayane kisses Joe he ( J) will be lucky and Pin said that's not how you talk in front of a teacher to shut Joe up. 10 years is a lot though she could just meet him after 5-7 years when her studies are finished. I hope they still met multiple times like they did 😅. I loved their bickering relationship. They fought like enemies and still were kind to each other. I watched 3 seasons and surprisingly became obsessed with this pair.

Hopefully Pin will still suck at getting girls so he will still be single at 37, which is not so uncommon in Japan. That’s why Ayane also said to keep his hair up because he is unnoticeable with his spiky hair lol
