    I heard it the opposite way. The roosters are pointier and the hens are rounder. I don’t think any of that’s really true though. But I wish it was lmao

      You want to know the truth when I made this video I only went with what I had heard once I put it to the test 🥚🐥 You are 100% correct none of it is true. To prove this one of my hatch cycles I put all rounded eggs and I still got 50/50. I wish it was true too It sure would be nice to be able to get just hens. Thank you for watching and commenting clean with Jess. If you don't mind me asking where are you from? Awesome please take a quick minute just to hit that subscribe button It really helps the channel out and I'll greatly appreciate it. Interesting on egg shape. I was hearing just opposite, with pointy being Roos, but, I havent tested it, maybe I should, Thanks for this review.

    • @TsquareTalk
      @TsquareTalk  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately I have tested it tons of times now. It's a wise tale. I have now filled my incubator three times with all rounded eggs yes the majority of the time the rounder the egg the more likely it is to be a hen however it's not guaranteed. But please take a quick minute to hit that subscribe button and keep in touch. Please if you test it out leave me a comment and let me know. Thank you for watching and commenting Gary B.

    How often do the eggs rotate

    • @TsquareTalk
      @TsquareTalk  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The egg rotator rotates them naturally and it's very slow so you won't be able to really watch it it takes about 4 hours to switch sides. If you have doubts about your eggs rotating put a mark on the eggs so you can see the rotation. Thank you for watching and commenting. Please don't forget to take a minute to hit that subscribe and keep in touch Damian.

    mine worked fine for a few hatches but 65% is all it would do. then went haywire! that’s when the fun begins. i called them and they said there were no parts available and they would call me back later that day. still no call!! new brand coming

      I'm sorry to hear that sometimes though when it comes to customer service that come falls on individual people it is so hard to find good health nowadays with everything going on. A lot of people just don't want to work anymore. They're tired Fed up unhappy with their life and then they go to work and barely scrape by. They don't realize you're better off to be able to just rely on yourself be more self-sufficient and you'll be happier just like a happy hillbilly 😉. Type of life I want to live get me a little piece of property or ranch in the middle of nowhere and be off the grid and away from everybody and everything. Thank you for watching and coming Happy Hillbilly keep in touch my friend.

    My hatch rate with this incubator the first time was about 80 percent the next 3 times probably more like 30 percent ended up buying the nature right 360 only hold 22 but 3 time one after another and had about 90 percent hatch rate

    • @TsquareTalk
      @TsquareTalk  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have not had that problem but if I was in your position I would check into the cleaning process because if you ran 80% the first time which is pretty successful you should have ran 80% after. Unless during the cleaning process something was changed or the digital reader was tweaked by accident. Thank you for watching and commenting Jesus.

      360. My hate rate is about 90%. Bought 2 others small to larger still the 360 is better. Working on my second one.

    I'm on day 1. Have my temperature between 99.5-100.5 but my humidity is at 65%. I've opened all the holes and also emptied alot of the water. Its been an hour and still reading at 65. Side note I do have the cheese cloth on the bottom too. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Tsquare!

    • @TsquareTalk
      @TsquareTalk  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The cheese cloth idea is just to save you time cleaning later not necessary if you don't mind a little bit of work cleaning. Your temperature seems like it's running great so you're all set there. As for the humidity it is a little bit high but like you said you're only on day one so there's not much to worry about right now just let it run and keep an eye on it. Oso humidity can drop fast if you don't have any water in

    • @TsquareTalk
      @TsquareTalk  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Don't hesitate to shoot me a message if you have any more questions a lot of people underestimate the humidity keep in mind it's not perfect outdoors for the chickens so there's a lot of room for error in my opinion.

    I bought a used one of these from my neighbor. I have had it running for over 24 hours. The temp is fine, fluctuating between 100 and 99.5 degrees, but the humidity has only climbed to 23% :(. I have filled (and even over filled) every single reservoir. Have sealed up all the small holes on top with tape and put the two red plugs in and still.....23% humidity showing on the screen. Is the sensor wrong? Is there something else I should be doing? BTW, I have so appreciated your videos over the last few days. I will be hatching my first eggs very soon. But, this humidity thing has got me baffled.

      The hygrometer might not be reading right which tends to happen sometimes. You can get a cheap one for like reptiles or like that. But they may be the problem not the incubator.

      Mine is the same plus the fan is trash it doesn't provide even heat one side of the incubator is 5 degrees colder than the other I had to add a fan to help circulate air better which helped a little with the humidity problem but these incubators are poorly made in my opinion

  • @octaviolopez1847

    What humidity and temperature do you use I have one these incubators and I’ve failed in all my hatch can you give me a advice thanks

    • @TsquareTalk
      @TsquareTalk  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Octavio Lopez If you filled the incubator and turned it on and absolutely nothing hatched out of 41 eggs. I would have to say your eggs are not fertile. The temperature is preset to 99.5 the humidity I keep between 55 and 65 but I have had it drop as Lo as 30 and still had eggs hatch. If you did not get any baby chicks, I would almost bet anything the person you're getting your eggs from does not have a rooster. If you want you can shoot me an email and let me know your situation and I will see if I can give you some tips
