"How to jump"
i discovered in a random run that if you have the "how to jump" and use the book on the ladder of the stuck item you can get out or enter in the wall
also i feel like the 2 bomb trick might work you get need more than 1-2 hearts to do it

Late but if you have pluto you can clip into the wall above the shorter ladder if you go up the shorter ladder into the wall at an angle, then grab the item from below it and then continue up to leave the crawl space

its a feature i believe, you can even go out of bounds with pluto and it teleports you so pretty sure a feature

A puzzle suggests you are able to use intellect/skill to gain a prize regardless of the items you have, this is like surrounding an item in metal squares on early floors to taunt players that can't fly yet, but on steroids
It’s as much as a puzzle as giving you all puzzle pieces to complete it except for the center one and the solution is buy another copy of the puzzle

mars or whichever planetarium item it was that lets you charge, very small size and flight. you can use it in the crawlspace under gideon too to glitch through the side walls and get to black market on right or error room on left.

Soy milk is honestly a good item and it has a lot of sinergyes, even tho sometimes it might make your life harder (sorry for poor english btw)
that soy milk must have its experation date now.
Imo the worst part of soy milk is its tear size down (since it's so difficult to hit anyone with it) and knockback (that makes even more difficult to hit enemies)
@@PineappleDealer37 the knockback got removed a lot, been playing since rebirth and with the changes to soy milk now I honestly almost always take it, its just that good now.

@@BabyDanielBD they do get repetitive faster, as the tunes are more easy to remember and recognise. Personally i do find it a better soundtrack in general but i understand if you don't. The best solution would be to have the game pick a song every floor so we have best of both worlds

Diplopia/Crooked Penny spawns an item UNDER the wall, which allows you to take the copy.

I appreciate the fact that there's two items in this room layout instead of just the one, so you don't feel like you got scammed if you can't solve the puzzle.

@Laika Baros moving box in repentance became a useful item lol. Especially with death certificate taken into account.
@@cancerguy5435 Moving box was better before repentance because it was basically a garunteed game break. You can no longer store infanite stuff in it but it's still a game breaking item. Honestly the only thing stopping it from being the best item in the game back then was that nobody used it for whatever reason

I mean just 1 rerole machine in any of the item rooms is enough to win a run with it
I literally had a run that l won it from the 1st floor cause l had dipplopia and l use it in the black market which contains moving box , l took it and transferred the remaining items to the current item room which had a rerole machine
And boom l had 5 items to rerole for more than 5 times !
And yes l didn’t need any thing else and l won with these items!!
Also l won a lot of runs cause of restock and moving box With the same strategy , just move the items to any room with rerole machine and gg
Also if you have perthro its an automatic win
Just carry as much items as you can to a divil deal room or angel room and perthro after you will guarantee to optain a S tier item

If you're playing as the forgotten, you can switch characters in a specific spot to get the other item I believe (it's a glitch so I assume it might get patched)
I always assumed this meant there would be another crawlspace on the floor, adn I wasted so many bombs searching for it. Glad to know it's an actual puzzle!
the second time i encountered this, i also happened to find crooked penny on the same floor. walked in, doubled the item, the pedestal got placed just in range to grab it

This was how I did it when I first found it
Had same item, jump gets you past the wall, one of the first times i got that room it gave me both jump and soy milk
I've seen how to jump spawn inside the wall, making it the most useless puzzle

I found this room with the pony active item that lets you dash and used it to get inside. Then I realized that there was no way back out...

You can use diplopia and multiply the items then use a weir jump off of the ladder to grab the item. It may take a while but it is possible, hope this helped!
I once had a run in which I was using the M' trinket, and I had recently rerolled my active item into Stitches. Then I found a crawlspace with this puzzle and I could hardly believe it, I immediately dropped the trinket and teleported my way in and out of the area for the item.

"How to jump" is perfect for that matter
It has a very strange glitch if you take the tainted forgotten under this item and keep throwing the skeleton up and eventually the skeleton bugs and ends up entering the empty space (detail this happened to me in a completely random run and it bugged in such a way that the skeleton took an item and went beyond the empty space going so high that it ended up leaving the crawlspace bug Crazy)
Spirit sword + Mom's knife. Let's you hurl the sword and when the sword makes contact with soy milk you get it.
At first i though this was another physics puzzle and find the sweetspot to launch yourself from the ladder.
you can also get small enough to clip through wall with ladders, but be carefull to error room
I think that having Pluto plus a few speed ups let you glitch through the wall

Another solution that I used was with the Crooked penny, since once you double the items, the copy of each item appears below the floor, then by using the ladder you get some momentum and you are able to reach the doubled item.
I don’t know if I explained myself too well and it is a more complex method than the ones showcased on this video. But I would suggest anyone to try it

I always hate seeing when a nice item is unobtainable with my current layout. I know it's possible to snag it under specific conditions, but most of the times I'm just sad I can't do anything to pick it up :( Lol
I always use void in that room
Pluto works too, it allows you to crawl between the top rocks and leave diagonal through the side. Also with Pluto you may fall out of the crawl space and land on an I AM ERROR room!

What if it’s another “Zelda” thing... on the last dungeon in Zelda there were walls that you had to go through where you had to hold the move button against the wall for a unfortunate amount of time. Bombs in that case didn’t work as well.
That sounds like it was exclusive to the second quest ... which had the biggest "fuck you" I can think of: Level 4 hid the raft BEHIND THE TRIFORCE.
Now I wonder what the AVGN would think of these "Second Quest" gimmicks in general.

I recently did a play in this type of crawlspace using diplopia! If you use diplopia in that room the item in the wall duplicates outside of the wall
I feel like they put the room there without any particular solution in mind and were just like "yeah the players will figure it out lol" and it worked
The forgotten. The soul you can switch to can move through. BTW getting into the wall and jumping out of the room takes you into the I am Error room

Aye and Grayfruit got super small one time and was able to just phase through the wall to get into the black market. I've always seen the collision for the crawlspaces as being really wonky

If you make yourself small enough and fast enough. You can clip through the wall. You can also get into the black market that way sense the load zone is still there, just blocked by walls.
I realized the Mr. ME thing the other day, but thanks for sharing the other methods. Additionally, one can opt to Void or Black Rune that item, but that's clearly different for obvious reasons.
Have they completely removed all bomb glitches that knocked one through walls (like the old school Black Market trick)?
The first time I got that room I was given for free depression, so I thought this was a joke about how I feel that I can't get Temmy's head. I'll use that information for next time.

I believe if you go fast enough you can clip through the walls (also can take you to error room.)
You can get some use out of it with void, abyss or black rune.
u can also jump into it odd enough its one of the few reasons why i take learning to jump over some other items
if you make Isaac small enough (like pluto) you can go through a tiny space in the wall from the side that the other item is on.
They don't know about my open sesame technique...

Pluto: pretty sure you can use the size down to glitch through the walls. Be careful though because you can also fall through the floor and end up in an i am error room.

This works, I used it to get the D1 as tainted lost which lead me to killing the beast actually lol.

With Tainted Forgotten you can throw the bones through the wall. Accidentally ended up in the I AM ERROR room for it once.

This actually doesn't work. The walls prevent the ghost from getting the item. (I happened to be playing the forgotten when I first encountered this cellar and came looking for solutions. Just thought I'd share.
Well if it's Soy Milk or Isaac's Heart, Void got you covered.
Soy milk was always ok and is good now because synergies and heart got heavily buffed
Stitches is the best active item, because you can teleport anywhere without the need of batteries
One time I found a crawl space with this puzzle thing in it and I had Diplopia with me and I realized that if you use it in that crawlspace it will make the copy of the item appear outside the box and I was able to get it.
The first time I got there the second item was "How to Jump" (which also works) and I thought that was the point of that crawlspace lmao. Got really confused when it was just some random item the second time.

The "Stitches" familiar works great for this
Mars, Pluto and small size in general, glitching with a bomb, how to jump, and probably a few more.
Using the lost? Maybe that item is there for that character to get it (if I'm wrong, keep in mind I don't have repentance to check)

Pluto gives you noclip. You can even clip to error room from the cellar.
If you find diplopia the item spawns a bit under itself, so by jumping off the stairs at the right spot you can get it
items and pills "one can make you small"(x3 or 4) can glitch your character model through the wall
I think this is a really good way to make the players use items they wouldn't normally use, a really nice detail from Edmund!

If you're tainted forgotten you can keep throwing him upwards until it grabs the item, it can take awhile but it works
i got this several times, a bunch of them having stitches, never guessed it was actually possible to get the item
Alright, so, the most obvious answer is Mr. Me or Moving Box.
With Mr. Me you just point him at the item and he brings it to you, while with the Moving Box you just press space and unpack it later in some other room when it recharges.
Maybe How To Jump would work too, but I’m not too sure.
You could also just trade the soy milk for some stat increases with Void (which is probably what I would do, old habits die hard lol)
EDIT: Ok, before someone inevitably comments it, yes, I have in fact paused the video before he showed the solutions. I just wanted to have some fun figuring it out myself :/
